I tried this place for lunch yesterday while waiting for a meeting. As I’m not used to the area it took me a little bit of time to find it, but that was my biggest problem. I ordered their panini and half salad lunch combo as well as their pineapple tea. I ordered their spinach and cheese panini and it was slightly disappointing. It was more cheese then spinach. Next time I’ll probably go for their tomato cheese and spinach. The salad was very good. Just enough cheese and perfectly dressed. For my pineapple tea I paired it with their strawberry black tea and it was amazing. Not too sweet, not too bitter, and very refreshing. Service was amazing. The girl taking my order was very kind and helpful.

Today was my first day here. I work in the topa tower and was looking for a coffee place to go to because I could not stay up at work. I was searching on Unilocal and saw that cafenity was in topa tower so I looked at their menu and saw that they had a coffee jelly latte and I love those drinks. So I thought to myself might as well go try especially since it’s one of their specialty drinks and when you check in you get $ 1 off. I ordered a vanilla coffee jello latte drink with non fat milk and no whip cream. The lady scooped the jelly out of this container and put it in the cup then added the coffee. The drink was 20 ounces and $ 5.20 however with the $ 1 off it came out to be around $ 4. She put in a regular straw for my drink and once I got it I knew it was not gonna be good. The jello was floating around and wasn’t on the bottom so when I would sip my drink I got nothing but coffee. When I was 2⁄3 done with my drink, the bottom 1⁄3 was basically ALL coffee jelly. I was not pleased and literally had to smash the jelly into super fine chunks so it could go up my straw. My advice to them is provide bigger straws like the ones used for tapioca drinks and/or already have the jello pre-made in the cup so every sip you take you get lots and lots of jelly!!! The UPSIDE about this place is that the workers are very friendly and have good customer service!

This place is a real gem. The owner and operator is always there and very sweet, always knows what product to recommend based on a few quick questions. So far I’ve tried several breakfast foods including the panini and quiche, very good with coffee or tea on those mornings in the office. The real star is the ice tea I pick up on my afternoon walk with my coworkers, mixed tea swear or unsweetened you won’t be disappointed. Try this place and you won’t be disappointed, all smiles over here !

One of many little restaurants in the lobby of the Topa Financial Center in downtown Honolulu, this place offers coffees, drinks, and light lunch fare. As with all the restaurants here, food is basically only available to go, although there is shared inside. The staff was very friendly and seemed happy to have a customer. A Unilocal check-in offer is available, for $ 1 off specialty drinks. They also have a rewards punch card for $ 5 off a purchase after reaching a certain dollar amount. The place was clean and nicely decorated with most of the pastries in a glass cabinet. I ordered a salad as I was looking for something a little on the healthier side. I had the Caesar with romaine lettuce, capers, and smoked salmon. I felt it was delicious, refreshing, but not overly amazing. The price was a little high for the portion size and amount of fish. I only had a water, that was nicely given to me in a large cup with ice instead of the expected tiny dixie cup. Great place for light food.

I guess I have newbie written all over my face. When I walked in, I was admiring all the different foods, snacks, and coffees available. The owner,(don’t know her name but I could tell she was) offered help. She did a great job in recommending a drink. I was very impressed by the speed of the order and the taste of the drink. This is one place that knows how to get it right and I would recommend this place again.

My girlfriend and I saw people walking out of Topa Tower with colorful iced teas, so we went on Unilocal to find out where they got them from and found out about Cafenity. They have a nice selection of teas that you can order either by itself, as a tea latte, or with lemonade or pineapple juice, and they even have soy and almond milk as options for a tea latte. I ordered a strawberry black tea latte with almond milk, and it tasted great! My girlfriend ordered a sweetened white peach tea, and hers was also very good and refreshing. This is a nice place to grab a quick drink after lunch or during work, and I will definitely be back to try their coffee next time.

What a neat little secret spot. I had some business downtown today, but couldn’t bring myself to settle for the many Starbucks that were on the way. I’m glad I waited cause I find Cafenity in the lobby of the Topa Building! The staff is very friendly, and I found out from the owner, Kristie, that the roast their own beans! Coming from Seattle, I may be a bit of a coffee snob, but this place is right up there with the shops in Seattle and Stumptown coffee in Portland. Thanks for the great pick me up! Oh yeah, they got a wide selection of specialty teas and desserts, too!

Went on a breakfast-run with a friend, & discovered this gem thanks to Unilocal!Cute little hole in the wall, staff is very nice, and the food-menu offers just enough options to have a little something for everybody. They were out of the salmon cheesebread today, but it was really for the best, b/c I probably wouldn’t have tried their turkey & ham cheesebread otherwise… and that was fantastic! Very tasty, nice texture, & fun to dig in with your fork to get all the little crusty baked-cheese edges. The prices are competitive with other coffee joints around(ie SB), but I thought the food was a tad on the pricey side… though still worth it for the taste & convenience, & supporting local business! I loved the caramel apple cider with whipped cream… perfect for the holiday season… and my friend enjoyed their peppermint mocha as well!

My first time here! The baristas were welcoming and helpful in choosing what I’d like. They are very persistent! The white peach tea latte was perfect, but I thought it took longer than it should. I never carry cash, so I was lucky enough that they ACCEPTCARD.

1st time there: I ordered a blended drink and it took 15 minutes. I was the only one there. Didn’t taste as good as Starbucks and the wait was too long! 2nd time there: Way better, more staff to help and faster service. The coffee jello is good.

I have come here a bunch for coffee as they are in my building. Today I wanted a salad, and was a bit skeptical of their«smoked salmon Cesar» but it was really good. Good amount of salmon, capers and onions were very good garnishes, and the lettuce was crisp. A better greens blend would have been nice, as this was just normal romain, but the rest was really good, so I was very happy. Overall a great place.

Staff is really nice, the owner is there often which is great to see! Large ice caramel machiatto $ 4.97. Too bad they open late for a coffee place in the finance district many of us have to start work at 6 or 630 am and they are closed, I would come more often. The taste of the coffee is good Staff friendly Assortment of food items Location is convenient in Topa Tower downtown Opens at 7am

I used to love this place… until today. I ordered my usual latte and I was not really paying attention when Kristie was making my drink. Then I noticed she had a spoon and scooped what looked like a piece of banana out of my drink. She then rinsed this«banana» in the sink and that’s when I realized it was the top of a squeeze bottle that had fallen into my drink. Instead of re-making the drink she just finished covered it and handed it to me. Ewwwwww!!! I didn’ t say anything… Paid for the drink and tossed it in the trash later. I know that incidents like this are not common and my other experiences here have been very positive, but I will not be returning.

Caf-enity, café-nity, ca-fe-ni-ty… I don’t know why, but I get so tongue twisted when I say Cafenity. It’s too fancy of a name for my tongue. :) I must admit, when Cafenity first opened, I was a bit bitter. I missed the last coffee place that was there, For The Love of Coffee. I mean, I didn’t know what to expect from Cafenity. I tried their thai coffee and meh, it was aight. I just not impressed. I just needed some time to cope with my feelings for For The Love of Coffee. After a few months, I came back to try their iced tea and I’m in love. Yes, I’m in L-O-V-E, love. I saw everyone in Downtown with a refreshing cup of iced tea and I had to ask them where they got it and their response… Cafenity. So when I tried their special that day, Strawberry Black Tea, it was absolutely delightful. On this hot, May Thursday, Cafenity’s iced tea quenched my thirst. I was addicted. The next day, I went down to grab another ice tea, apricot green tea this time. Since it was lunch time, I got their creamy potato soup — VERYVERY delicious and yes, a slice of their cheesecake. It was the best lunch that week. Yes, I will be back soon. I am determined to untie my tongue with the fancy name.

Wonderful quaint little café in the lobby of Topa. Plenty of coffee and tea offerings as well as some tasty treats. When I’m down that direction, can’t help but stop by and pick up a little something.

Thoroughly impressed with this place, tucked into the ground floor of the Topa Tower. Ordered a sandwich(pesto chicken on a croissant), potato chowder, a tea lemonade, and a slice of cheesecake to go. Service was top-notch and super-friendly. I asked what comes on the sandwich, expressed my distaste for mayo, and I was offered a sandwich with just pesto, instead of the pesto mayo. She offered to toast my croissant, which I highly recommend. Soup was hot-hot and topped with freshly-chopped parsley. With lunch, we were offered a dollar off on a drink. I wasn’t sure what I wanted, so the owner asked if I wanted hot or cold — I responded with cold and was leaning toward an Italian soda, and she suggested a tea-lemonade.(an Arnold Palmer elsewhere) Now, I ordinarily HATE iced tea. Hot tea is delicious, but I can’t abide it iced. She said she had a white peach iced-tea that she’d blend with lemonade for a refreshing drink, and I decided to give it a go. She pumped some peach(?) syrup into my glass, filled it mostly with the freshest lemonade I’ve tasted in a long time, and added a small bit of white-peach flavored tea on top. It was actually quite delightful — so much so that I might order it again — because I will definitely return. We pulled up chairs to the bar — looks like most of their business is takeout. A big lunch for two — my croissant sandwich, a panini, two soups, two drinks, and a chocolate cheesecake slice to share, ran $ 23. A good value, for what we got.

3.5 stars to be exact. I’ve passed by this place a dozen times; and just today, decided to stop here for lunch instead of my usual Café Blue! Looking in their display case, I decided on a toasted panini with half Caesar salad… I was offered an apricot lemonade for a dollar off, since I got a sandwich and my total came out to $ 10.16! Whoa… that’s a pricey lunch(for me, anyway)! The salad was made fresh and the sandwiches were premade, but when I got back to my desk — everything was quite tasty! The salad was very good, and so was the sandwich … the cheese was melted to perfection and the bread was the right amount of toasty and chewy. The apricot lemonade was OK — I didn’t taste any apricot though, so maybe I just got regular lemonade? The two people working there were very friendly and knew a lot of their regulars — so that’s good.

I just came back from, locally owned, Cafenity’s grand opening celebration where they had samples of coffee, tea, scones, salad, paninis, and cookies that they will be offering starting Monday, Feb 13. I had a soy latte handcrafted by Kristie, the owner, and I must say it was creamy and tasty! I have never enjoyed Kona Coffee as much as I have here. As for food, the paninis and caesar salad are flavorful. I have yet to try the sweets. I wish my sweet tooth was kicking in today! My bf also enjoyed his vanilla latte and scones(and he’s not usually a fan of scones, so that’s saying something!). For you tea drinkers, they offer a variety of loose leaf teas(including peach and strawberry which smell heavenly!) and I noticed on the menu that there’s Japanese matcha, so I’ll definitely be back for a soy matcha latte! They also have the Cafenity Tumbler – a smart double-walled glass travel tumblers that are for hot or cold coffee and tea. These are great because you don’t have to worry about BPA in plastic, you’re doing the environment some good, and for UNLIMITED $ 1 Regular 16 oz. coffee refills or $ 1 off any specialty drink. This is by far the best deal I’ve come across at all the coffee shops downtown! Cafenity is on the ground floor of Topa replacing the previous coffee shop that was there next to the jewelry store and across from the florist. And they’re open on Saturdays, so if you’re working weekends or working out downtown and need refreshing beverage or a bite to eat, this is one of the few places that will be open! Closed on Sundays. I can’t wait to come back Cafenity on Monday for my caffeine fix!(I hear there’s a cute male barista who will be working on that day…)
