I was compelled to write this review after my first and last time here at this bank. I stopped by here at 4pm this afternoon because other locations in town had just closed. There were about 7 people in line in front of me when I got there. There were only two tellers, the line behind me kept getting longer and longer. All the while, they never opened up any other windows to expedite the line. It seemed as if the staff working there were purposely moving slowly. The workers would leave, and talk amongst themselves and come back to their windows eventually. I’m not JOKING, I was not helped until 4:52pm. It was awful.

Central Pacific Bank is the worst bank ever. The staff do not care about customer service. Their customer service supervisor Rocco has the worst sense of customer service. The overall staff are very incompetent and tell customers information that are not accurate and they do not deliver what they tell people they will. Stay away from this bank and that is why they are almost bankcrupt.

This is by far the most terrible branch on the island. The tellers suck, the fem manager talks like a queen. Went in for a simple transaction and the teller made a huge problem. She wasn’t familiar with the banks products and constantly walked away without telling me what’s going on. Than I deposit my PAYROLL check and she says theirs going to be a hold placed for 2 days. I been banking at CPB for 15 years and I have a damn good account. This was the first I ever ever and I say ever encountered. the only reason I went to this terrible branch is because I was shopping in town. I always go to the Kunia times branch (now this is a fabulous branch). I will never ever ever return to this branch. In fact I placed a call to the president and is expecting a call back. If I could rate them a negative instead of one star I would. Avoid this branch, and save yourself from poor customer service.

You know what I’m talking about.
I love the late weekday hours and weekend hours of this branch! Wait times are hit or miss, but I’m just glad I can make transactions 7 days a week, even on holidays!

Such a nifty place for a bank. While you do your shopping and need to go to the bank, you just go right to the back and there it is.
The cons are that there are usually only two or three tellers; with sometimes such a huge line! Plus, they don’t do all the things a regular bank does and have a cap on the amount of money you can take out or deposit… or that’s what they told me.
If you have the time to stop at a regular bank and not this «kiosk» of a bank, I suggest you do it. If you don’t, that’s fine. This bank does perform some functions if you really need to pay bills among other things.
