Copy Express

Emailed content in pdf format and ordered in 2 minutes. They called to confirm order and 5 hrs later I had 500 cards. Easy, efficient, cheap.

Soooo, I was under the impression that Copy Express was like your «typical» copy/​fax place (I.e. Kinkos, etc). So, I meandered in today with just 5pages to copy, assuming it was $.10 per copy… $.50 — PERFECT! I was wrong, because they don’t have your «typical» self-​serve machines and such, there is a $ 5 minimum… OY VEY! I literally didn’t have time to go elsewhere so as she was copying my pages in back (which was when I realized the min charge), I decided I had no other choice but to «bite the billet and pay $ 5 for 5 freakin’ sheets… :(
Toy surprise, however, the young lady came out and explained the min fee before I could even say anything about realizing it, followed by an act of awesome-​ness — she only charged me $.52, as I was a brand new customer who genuinely didn’t know their policy.
Thank you! I forgot you name, but your gesture was awesome and earned my business for bigger jobs! Also, you helped make my already kinda crappy day a bit better.

Copy express is very friendly and professional. Had to print out big printings on a cardboard for my class project last minute and Chris (the manager) was very helpful and quick in getting things done on time. He didn’t even ask for a rush fee since I was a student. I’ve been coming here since then and he gives me some discount on big items since I’m a regular now.
They also do business cards which I had made for when I was giving out my résumés when looking for a job since it looks a lot more professional. The quality is good and the price isn’t bad either.
The location is close to downtown and they are a lot more friendly than kinko or UPS. I highly recommend this place for students or other businesses as well.

Horrible service. Very rude. Basically paid for something I did not tell him I wanted.

* i found it interesting that this place is run and owned by Koreans. I been to Korea and damn Koreans know how to do business! i always keep coming back for more.
And I will definitely keep this place on the very top of my list when it comes to printing :)

My mom and I always get our printing done here. Just give them your USB flash drive and they will print your work instantly. I recommend this place over fed ex kinkos because the charge almost half off, their printers and machines are newer, and the quality of printing is better as well. The staff is very friendly, and that’s a good thing.

A friend recommended this place to me after I waited last minute to get my poster printed for a poster conference at school. I was really screwed because the campus print shop was too busy, and two other places I checked out were also full. I had placed an order at Walmart, but it could only do 30 by 20, and I needed 36 by 24.
I liked that I could do the whole thing online, and I placed my order at the end of the day, and it was ready by noon the next day. It looked really professional, and made my research look pretty classy— not enough to win the conference, but classy enough that I felt OK standing next to it.
Even better, it was sooo much cheaper than Fed Ex!

Black and white, color, banners, posters, vinyl signs, stationary, NCR forms, business cards, binding, laminating, mounting, engineering plans, copy plot scan to file, and vehicle graphics.
Monday to Friday from 8 am to 6 pm.
If you can get there during the daylight hours then you’re probably not a night owl like me. It’s worth the effort to get great printing at great prices. Since kinkos is so high now, you get two sides printed for what Kinkos will charge for one side. I definitely am a fan of this biz.
I just have to get there when the sun is still up. Sigh…
Unilocal 365 Challenge: ⁸⁰⁄₃₆₅

This small little shop was my light at the end of the tunnel.
It was my last day on O‘ahu before going to live with some family on the mainland for a few months and I still had errands to do to tie things up for work. I just needed to make a few copies of some important papers and I didn’t want to have to drive down to University to FedEx Kinkos then drive back to ward to turn them in.
For some reason, perhaps instinct or God on my shoulder, I thought maybe, just maybe, there would be a copy shop on King street. I’m driving along in the far right lane using my eagle eye glasses to find one. Then, right after Baskin Robbins, I see it! A big sign that reads: «Copy Express.» Yess, thank you Jesus! I try to get in to the left lane to no avail, for everyone feels like they are in a hurry and they don’t want to let me in. I drive around and back then pull in to their itty bitty parking lot.
Big clue that you’re approaching Copy Express, you’ll see Loving Hut & Baskin Robbins, then you turn on Elsie lane right in to the parking lot. They have about 4 or 5 parking stalls right in front of it. I walk in, and it’s actually quite large inside, there were only a couple of people working at the time. They have this huge banner at the back wall stating the different things they can do here.
I just needed my paperwork to be copied from 1 sided to 2 sided, I didn’t want what was on the back of the originals. The guy completely understood what I was asking for and executed quickly. He was nice and friendly as well. Copies were pretty cheap too. I took a card and they even have a nifty little map on the backside, love that! I got everything done that I needed to do and took a few deep breaths in the car, then decided I deserved some Baskin Robbins. So, off I went for my ice cream fix!
It was a good day! =o)
