I always go to this location since my doctor’s office is in this building. They have new hours now & are open earlier then before. Cool. Now I can go before work if it’s a weekday and I no longer need to wait for a Saturday to get it done. I can’t recall if their parking validation WAS for 30 minutes since at most I’d test twice a year but it kind of sucks now that their parking validation is the same as the doctor’s validation so I ended up paying $ 2.50 even though I was only there less than 20 minutes. Kuakini’s parking structure has a 15 minute grace period so I must have just missed getting a freebie by a few minutes. Nuts! I hate that. Have your ID& insurance card ready & don’t forget to grab a number to get serviced. You now have to stamp your own parking validation so don’t forget that either. So far getting blood drawn here is relatively painless. No bad experiences here. They do a pretty good job. It can get busy but the longest I ever waited was 10 minutes. Will have to see about the wait time if I ever do go before work. Though now that I gotta pay for parking I think I need to scout other locations. My overall assessment is 3.5 stars. 4.5 stars if parking was free. So that evens it out to a 4 from me.(o.O)

Needles? EeeKkk! Not my thing, it terrifies me but not enough to a point where I have to be strapped in the chair. The last thing I want to do is look like an idiot while getting my blood drawn. They are usually on top of things at this location, they are efficient and quick. I’ve been here more than enough to see that they are consistent with the service they give. And this particular day was on a saturday and they made the line flow so smoothly. When my name got called to get my blood taken I prepped myself for it going down the elevator from my doctors office so I had enough time to calm my nerves down. So a friendly lady explains to me what she is going to do and showed me three vials, YES, 3, that I was not ready for. But I couldn’t get out now, but she was very gentle and the only thing I felt was the pinch in the beginning. I was lucky that my blood was easily coming out because I would hate to have got poked again and get a bruise, trust me i’ve had that happen to me. :(at another place of course.
