Evil woman spends her time flagging other businesses ads on craigslist. No integrity, bottom line is this, if your service is good, customers wouldn’t complain!

I hired Doo Rite cleaning, which I found on Craigslist, for a move-out cleaning. On the phone, the business owner boasted how her business was state certified and that they would guarantee I would get my deposit back, and that the realtors can call her to have the unit cleaned further for free, if dissatisfied with the cleanliness. Well, all I can say for those seeking a move-out cleaning service is that you should probably go elsewhere. For these reasons(based on my experience with them): — They charge more. It was about $ 50 more expensive than some of the other places I found on CL. I was willing to pay for it because of the guarantee that they offered. — They give you all these reasons how the job doesn’t qualify for the guarantee after the job is done. — The lady is rude in person. I’m not paying them to be polite, for sure, but isn’t it one of the basic principles of the service industry? — They do a shitty job(not professional). I’m sure they claim to guarantee their work, but take it back for other people as well. There is no way that their job would guarantee the deposit back. The floors were still sticky(I was wearing socks, so I didn’t notice), and they didn’t even do some of the details(cabinet handles, etc). — They take too long. Granted, the unit was kinda messy, and very large, but if they think they’re going to take longer than initially stated, they should let their customers know. I returned to the unit at the promised time to sign off on the job, but ended up having to wait for 2 hours… The lady was all like«15 more minutes» the whole time…

I found this company rude, demanding, and attempting to jack up the price at the last minute. A quote for $ 375 swelled to over $ 500. We had contacted this company 2 weeks prior to our move out based upon a friend’s recommendation and Angie’s list. They quoted us a higher base price than our friends’ house, a place which was twice the size of our place(4400 square feet vs 1800 square feet). They refused to take a check or credit card and wanted ONLY cash. However, our friends were adamant they were great, so we booked with them. The weekend before the scheduled cleaning, I contacted the owner by calling to confirm the appointment, as was their policy. The owner said if anything was not well maintained she would«get» us. We thought, «no problem,» as we pretty regularly cleaned, and we know how to clear an apartment to standard, having moved 10+ times over the years. On the day of the service, the owner showed up and started to walk through our town home. She asked if we had used the stove or the fridge since they were so clean and made several comments on how well the place looked. After counting up the windows, she then said she would do it for the agreed upon price but«I am gonna get you on the windows. I want an extra $ 140(or $ 10 per window) to clean your place.» I said I only have enough cash for what we agreed upon. She said she couldn’t do the cleaning for that amount, which I found problematic since she had told me how clean the place was to begin with. I then told her I could not pay that much and asked her to leave. She stormed out of the townhome and drove off. I went and wiped down the blinds and the windows in about an hour. When our landlord came to clear us, she said the place was«immaculate» and we got our entire security deposit back. I’m glad I didn’t waste ¼th of our deposit on Doo-Rite. I can’t recommend this company.
