Drummers Warehouse

I can’t write a review about their service or prices, because everytime I try to visit the store, no one’s there! Their posted hours say 11am-​5pm (everyday except Tuesday and Sunday). Each time I’ve gone it was at about 11:30am on their «open» days — well after their posted opening time. But nope. No one’s here. I’m actually typing this review from the parking lot — 1130am and no sign of anybody trying to open the store. If they don’t want my money I’ll gladly spend it online — just wanted to try and support local small biz — guess that can’t happen today.
If YOU try visiting the store and get in, please post what time you came. Most of us have jobs and can only come during their lunch hour.
Word of advice: change your hours to something more realistic: 1pm –7pm!

So I went back there, & I took the benefit of the doubt… and there was a new person in the counter. His name is Josh and boy, it was a pleasant surprise! He was helpful welcoming & I actually bought something! No music store in the island has hard to find drum stuff except for this place…& I knew it. That’s why I went there in the first place, but it turned into a sour one. No worries, must’ve been a bad day for both
I’m turning my negative review into a positive one. Josh works here only on Saturdays. He makes a difference in this business. Thank you! I will try & come back again.

I usually buy my equipment online but wanted to try a new «upgraded» pair of Zildgian drum sticks, so I looked up Drummer’s Warehouse on South St on the recommendation of a friend. All the parking was full so I thought this was a good sign but I had to go around the block again to look for street parking. Ok, parked a block away and ran in to the store. Empty… The guy at the counter was on the computer and to busy to even say hello, welcome or boo. I found the sticks after after a few minutes and stood at the counter waiting for the guy to get off the phone. After a few minutes (really, minutes!) he says «12 bucks». I guess I paused too long, so he started telling me what a great deal I was getting. I was actually thinking about my next appointment but great deal? I can get these online for $ 8 and even with the shipping it would still be cheaper then $ 12 especially through Amazon prime with «free shipping». And then, or yes tax. What ever. I turned to walk out and stopped to look at a DW Designer Series Drum kit I had read about online. I thought cool! Just then I hear, «don’t touch it unless your gona buy it». Unbelievable! Needless to say, I won’t be going back, let alone buying from this store. I told my friend about it and he said, «oh, that’s Leo, the owner». Again, unbelievable! At least my car didn’t get a ticket.

Great service. The owner of Drummers Warehouse Leo is very nice and helpful and helped me get what I needed to get. Totally recommend coming here. Best Drum Shop in Hawaii

I brought out my drum set that’s been sitting in my storage for nearly 10 years. I needed to get the snare drum fixed… and needed to see if everything was still good to go.
Leo, the former HA pilot, helped me today and he was totally awesome. He helped me fix my snare, and tuned my drums. It was pretty obvious that he wasn’t just trying to make money off of me, but genuinely cared for what my needs were. I’m very thankful for that.
Now that my drum set is up and running, I’ll be going back to this store more often.
