This was my first experience, a referral from Peter at Island Guitars who sets up all my guitars. Robb tuned up a Mexico-made Fender Princeton DSP(solid-state) that was intermittently cutting out. He identified the issue quickly, replacing the volume pot and fixing a suspect solder elsewhere. Plus, he did an overall cleanup which made it look like it just came out of the factory box. It only took a couple of days. He’s a super-personable guy and extremely patient as I grilled him about his entire life/work history and geeked out over entrepreneurship, green living and technology. It’s a small & efficient little owner-operated shop, which may explain how the high-quality work remains affordable. He knows his stuff!

Robb, the owner of Edgar Audio, is a real knowledgeable/hard working guy. He’s fixed two amps for me so far for a very reasonable price — considering most people on this rock require $ 30 – 40 just to LOOK at the problem, not to fix it. He’s real quick on the turn-around time, and he currently services clients like Polynesian Culture Center, a lot of hotels, and almost all musicians on this island. In general: if you have audio equipment that’s broken, take it to Robb! For all other problems, see your doctor!
