In need of some trigger point work, I hit my local Unilocal to find out what are the hottest places to get a massage. Several places offered a great deal in price vs time, but where most of the locations fall short is schedule flexibility. Working two jobs does not allow me the luxury of getting a massage during normal working hours, here is where Energetic Works shines through. I contacted Jorge and informed him I needed to set up a appointment at 8pm. He was more then happy to take me under such short notice. I arrived and was greeted by him at the door. We quickly discussed my nagging shoulder pain, and he left the room so I could get undressed. He returned and blessed me with a stimulating yet gentle massage.
I decided on 90 min’s of bliss, but he does offer shorter massages per request. So here’s my break down of «The Good, Bad and Area’s of Improvement»
The Good: Relaxing environment, complete with low lights and easy trade wind breezes. Sturdy table with clean linens, and a private bath for that much needed after massage shower. He is strong enough to get into small joints to target those pesky shoulders, neck, back and legs, but gentle enough to not cause pain when he imobilizes a certain muscle. He is licensed and study western and eastern medicine and practices what he preaches to his clients. I was left with a feeling of being in good hands with him. At the end of your massage you will be asked to center yourself. By far my favorite part was the sacral stimulation. It helps with migraines and sinus infections.
The Bad: Parking of multiple clients could be a challenge if you arrive early or are running late to your appointment. He does not have a schedule posted on his website that allows clients to schedule appointments during normal working hours. A terry cloth robe is not provided for covering your body before or after the massage, so be sure to bring your own.
Things To Try: Ask him after your massage about the essential oils used, and request some of his special Ginger Tea… it will help balance your body and mind allowing you to recover.

My friend introduced me to Jorge and Shiatsu massage on our visit to Honolulu. An incredible treat — that would be an understatement! Jorge asked questions before proceeding, and showed me how to do an important stretching movement on my own, as I needed!
I was mesmerized by his scalp massage — in fact, I «felt» his energy around my head for a while after he had completed the procedure — I thought he was still there, healing me!
He went out of his way to meet my friend and me on the beach, where could also enjoy the sunshine, sand and surf!

I have seen Jorge’s ad before and thought it was a bit pricey. However, today, I really wanted a treat so I contacted him. I paid $ 100 for a 90 minute massage.
First, Jorge is incredibly professional. He responded back to me immediately. And we set up a same-​day appointment. He had a parking stall available, he was articulate, he asked me a number of question and took my concerns seriously. He informed me about the various modalities he would be incorporating into his massage with me.
Second, I did my best to stay up to feel the massage, but when he hit my head and started massaging my scalp.. .. that was it. Lights out! But I swear he was strong and the various modalities truly felt good. He found knots I never knew I had.
Jorge has a rich background in not only massage but also oriental medicine. He even gave me advice about what to do with my concerns! I was amazed.
If you are looking for someone who will take the time to know you, inquire throughout the massage if you’re ok, make sure the pressure is ok, and even give you additional advice to living a healthier lifestyle.. .. Jorge is definitely your man.
