No greeter, so let’s all stand around having the bartender ignore us… bad sign. We had to ask the bartender if we can sit. Not cool. Wait staff FINALLY came over to tell us the menu is 4 total items. Yep, your eyes do not deceive you. 2 types of Pupu aka meat balls, 2 types of nachos, crackers and dip, and pork sliders that are rated WORST on the island! Oh and the establishment is soooo classy that you can bring in food from the food court. SKIPTHISPLACEATALLCOSTS! Go to Me’s BBQ, or anywhere else other than here!

Very convenient to stop for drinks in the mall. Place wasn’t very busy got drinks almost immediately. Drinks were priced the same as everywhere else in Waikiki.

Worst pork sliders EVER. I’m not picky at all so that says something. In all fairness the bartender warned us. But he sliders were pretty bad. And I repeat I’m NOTPICKY! And the bartenders eat behind the bar. That drives me nuts. Errrrrr! The place isn’t too bad with the exception of the food. Service was good, location was good. But don’t order the pork sliders!

Came here to drink before shopping! Loved it! The bar was very clean and open to the public at the food court. Our bartender«Chico» was very handsome and fun to be around. He gave us information on events to attend to and what is good to eat. The bar has appealing pupus to snack on… And you can watch sports on their nice flat screen TVs. Very nice bar to relax. don’t have to worry about and cover, creepers or over priced drinks. Recommend this place to all!

Strange bar in the middle of a food court… but strangely enough, your allowed to order food and bring it into the bar. So if you’re looking for a quick drink with your take-out food, this place is it. We came here on a friday night and there was a live band singing as well, which was nice. However, do NOT order the lava flow here. They make it as a mixed drink and not blended like everywhere else. We informed the waitress that it was pretty nasty and she brought us another one, in it’s correct blended form. Other than this little quip, I enjoyed my visit. The drinks were cheap and if you check-in on Unilocal, you get 15% off your drink bill.

Good location to people watch and relax after day o shopping. The key is too sit outside on the spacious balcony overlooking the courtyard and sidewalk. Service is slow but who cares? How many places allow you to bring in your own food? With that said I suggest the Phở Factory. Number 14BBQ Special is a delightful combination of pork chicken and beef served over vermicelli noodles and lettuce. $ 10.78 and enjoy it with an ice cold beer. Check in at Five-O and get 15% off. Enjoy!

This is a lounge and bar. Don’t come in with a five star restaurant expectation. It is perfect for a lounge. The bar is small but the bartenders are both friendly and helpful. Tonight I complained about my drink and she had it fixed with no problems! We come here regularly and pass it on to all our friends!

BYOF?! Can u believe it! This bar is located in the food court of the royal hawaiian shopping center. unusual location but it seems to work because you can order food in the food court and bring it into the bar. Have a nice drink while you enjoy food of your choice. it makes it super convenient because i typically HATE bar food i usually always eat before i go drinking… but here u can bring your own food. NICE! this bar does serve bar food basics for all of those who are interested. we’ve been here a few times. my hasband always gets the longboard and i always get a li hing margarita. the li hing margarita isnt on the menu so u have to ask. they never disappoint. i gotta tell someone of my experience here bc its kinda funny… well at least i thought it was. the first time we went there there was this local girl. i tell her i want a li hing margarita blended. no problem… it came out perfectly. second time i went… there was another bartended. i ask for a li hing margarita blended. he looks at me… i look at him. so i repeat again… im thinking he didnt hear me over the music. «li hing margarita blended. like li hing mui kind.» he nods. few minutes later he comes back with a blended original margarita. I tell the bartended again, «sorry we wanted a li hing mui flavored one.» he looks at me perplexed then says, «we have li hing.» my husband looks at him equally perplexed,“yeah, like li hing mui right?” then the bartended shakes his head and says,“sorry no li hing mui just li hing.” awww so cute. next time we go ill just say that i want a blended margarita with the sour red stuff in it :-P

My friend and I dropped by here because we heard there was a live reggae band. Five-O is located in the Royal Hawaiian Hotel on the second floor. This is basically a sports bar that converts to a «lounge» at night. As you walk in there are tables surrounding the big TV. There is obviously the bar, outdoor seating and a stage w/a small floor. The reggae band was pretty cool, and some were dancing to the beat. Unfortunately, the service sucked! The bartender served someone standing in line behind me, and couldn’t find the Johnny Walker Black for my friend. Her small tip was representative of her lack of service: 2 Stars. Other than the band, this place is nothing special. A typical tourist trap place along the drag of Kalakaua Ave.

I had the five-ohi ginger cosmo(not bad but not as gingery as i expected). Lunch was bbq nachos with kalua pig, bacon, cheese, bbq sauce & sour cream. Check in on Unilocal and get 15% off your drink order! If you sit outside you overlook palm trees and water features as shoppers walk by. Hawaian music plays in the background.

I don’t watch Hawaii five o so I don’t know If the bar has anything to do with it. I recommend sitting outside. Nice view into the royal Hawaiian shopping center park. Great if you want to watch the hula show there. Stage can be seen optimally. Food — didn’t eat there yet. It’s nice that they let you bring your own food. The rigs the shopping mall food court close by so I always get something there and eat at the bar having a cold beer. Drinks — nothing special as far as I know. Prices are ok. 17⁄19 $ pitcher. The loud music from the inside mixes with the hula on the outside. That’s a little sad but ok if you have people to talk to, than you don’t concentrate on the music mixture. Service was very friendly.

Only giving it more than 1 star because they had nice seating for us but we got here early. We ordered the nachos. Definitely not worth the $ 9 it was. Firstly, the full size looks like a half & the chips were Costco brand not even restaurant style. They didn’t even make an effort to make it look presentable and it was probably microwaved too. Secondly, when I asked them to refill my glass, they gave me another one with lipstick marks on it. Then when I asked for another glass they brought it & he just grabbed the glass with wine & poured it in the other glass in front of me. He should’ve gave me new wine also.

Came here with my friend for some food and drinks and let me tell you right now, NOT to get the food here. For one thing, if you’re at the bar, you can clearly see a microwave, and from where i was sitting, you can see the non refrigerated sour cream, cheese, salsa, and another bag that looked like it needed to be refrigerated. These items were in a plastic container over some kitchen cleaner solutions just sitting out in the open. Ummm yeah, i told my friend we are NOT getting food here lol unless we want stomach problems in the AM. Haha to confirm, we also asked the bartender if they have a kitchen in the back and he said no. Anyway, aside from the microwaved food, we just got drinks which were pretty bad. It was also happy hour till 6p with i think 25% off drinks? i got their lava flow which is stirred and not blended which was actually pretty good and refreshing, i also tried their chi chi chi which was like a lava flow sans the strawberry but way too coconutty for me and my friend described it as something else that cant be mentioned hahaha ;). My friend on the other hand got the mango margarita and the bartender couldnt even find the salt for her rim lol… totally unorganized and stuff everywhere. Overall, drinks were ok and the bartender was ok and at least checked up on us. But yeah, fair warning, def do not get food here!

A scene from HAWAIIFIVE0 Scene takes place in Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center. McGarrett and Danno enter from screen left investigating a suspect McGarrett: Danno where is that guy going Danno: Not sure but looks like he is in a hurry McGarrett:(yelling at guy) Hey stop! Where are you going (Guy starts running and McGarrett and Danno runs after him. They chase him up the stairs to the second floor near the Food Court. McGarrett tackles him and pins him down right in front of a bar called Five-O Bar & Lounge) McGarrett: Why are you running? Guy: I wanted to make sure I get a 60 oz tower before happy hour ends for $ 20. Everything from 12−6pm is 25% off with Happy Hour pupus. Plus I get validated parking! Danno: Wow you know how much I LOVE food from Hawaii. McGarrett: Alright settled lets call Kono and Chin Ho and tell them to come over (Beautiful waitress comes by and approaches McGarrett and Danno) Waitress: Hello boys would you want me to save a table for you in front of our many Flat Screen TVs, overlooking the lanai or near our stage for local entertainment? Danno: Those tables look great and let’s get started on drinks and food McGarrett: Book em Danno!

Stopped by here for a drink before dinner at Suntory. The price for my Goose tonic was $ 9 which is freakin outrageous!!! The 4 star rating is for the super friendly and hot bartendress. Forgot her name but she is from the Big Island… Jolly and über friendly which enhances my experience there… Will try to stop again for their happy hour from 12pm — 6pm(?) Not sure of the exact times but it does span over lunch…

The chardonnay is delicious. Usually bartenders say the drinks are good and when you order it, it’s completely the opposite. The house wine they serve was nicely chilled and went down smoothly. If you’re not into wine, they’ll bring the entire beer dispenser right to your table for you to enjoy. The mini dispenser definitely draws attention, but your group will be happy to refill their own beer mugs without having to flag down the servers. I didn’t get a chance to try their mixed drinks, but our guests felt the pour was a little light. The relaxed atmosphere offered soft cushioned lounge seating and totally sets the mood for a wind down after a long week of work. Or if you prefer bar seating, but a lady like me prefers the sink in, soft lounge seating. The bartenders are so down to earth. With their aloha shirt, nothing flashy at all, they are quite personable and worthy of the tip. They recommended a couple of light appetizers and we had to pass after a full meal. The prices are reasonable and I would recommend this place especially if you’re hanging around Waikiki. There are a variety of people that roam around here. There’s the tourist just walking around looking for a chill spot and then there’s us. I’m dressed up with full make up and hosting family from out of town. It’s nice to see a mixed crowd, but this Saturday night was pretty dead. I’m with my husband and great company, so I’m having a good time regardless of the crowd.

It was pretty dead for a Saturday night. It’s a chill place where you can choose to sit at a table, the bar or in their lounge chairs. I ordered a ginger cosmo( ) with cranberry, vodka and ginger for around $ 8.50. It was pretty good! I saw on their menu that they have happy hour from 3−6pm, even on Saturdays!
