Fu Rebekah, MD

Dr. Fu is an excellent Doctor! It’s so important to have an amazing PCP and she is just that. She truly cares about her patients and goes out of the way to follow up with them. I feel very fortunate to have her as a doctor.

Dr. Fu is an awesome General Practitioner (Internal Medicine). She’s based out of Straub on King Street. Her office, like most Doctors in Hawaii, (Doctor shortage, gotta love it) is very busy. Yet unlike many other Doctors, she always makes the time to talk to her patients. She has to be, by far, one of the best General Practitioners I’ve ever had. Shes attentive, knowledgeable, friendly, and very personable. Because she’s based out of a Clinic/​Hospital, the front desk staff isn’t always the nicest, but they’ve always been professional in my experience.
I’ve been her patient for several years now, and I have nothing but good things to say about her. I am a healthier and more informed person because of her! When I had pelvic problems, she sent me to a specialist, and followed up with me to make sure I was getting the right care.
Straub keeps computerized records that Doctors and medical staff can access, and Dr. Fu makes full use of the resources at her disposal to give excellent care. This allows her to keep track of what medicines I take, what I’m allergic to, and more. I have to say it’s great that Straub does have electronic records, because handwritten records could be misread if handwriting isn’t clear. Furthermore, now my records are accessible to all the staff at the hospital, so if there was an emergency, they wouldn’t have to search for my records, they’d have them on file and easily accessible.
