Great ice cream, excellent location, of course it’s expensive it’s Häagen-​Dazs on Waikiki. Outdoor seating available or you can walk across to the beach.

Treat yourself nice and have a Dulce de Leche. Always good, ingredients fresh and quick service. Once a month indulge.

Location is great, with an added bonus of outdoor seating. The customer service was average, nothing special. The ice cream was delicious.

Jimmy is an artist! I was stressed and he was super friendly and made me relax. I loved it!

10:53am 1÷31÷15 Mom and daughter fun date. Walked in and lucky us had the opportunity to have the worst experience ever. The lady working there didn’t greet us and when she finally asked us what we wanted I politely asked her to show me the difference in the small and regular size sunday. you would think I asked her for an impossible task because she rolled her eyes and that is when we walked out! No thank you. I rather walk across to Coldstone for better service!

If you’re wanting ice cream and in a hurry do not come here! I usually don’t give bad reviews but this one was a must. I stood in line thinking my service was gonna be quick because there was 2 people working and only 3 people, including me in line. So the guy already helping the customer acknowledges that he’ll be with me after, while the guy at the register doing whatever he is doing doesn’t bother to look up and realize there’s more than enough customers for his coworker to handle. But then when his friend comes in, he helps his friend and he doesn’t even charge for what the friend ordered. I’m pretty sure every where in the world you’re supposed to pay for what you ask for unless it states free somewhere. After seeing that and the fact that I still wasn’t served after 20 minutes, I stopped that boy that was at the cash register and asked him why his friend was given his order before me and he said he was sorry. I mean really?! If you see a customer that walked in before the next, you would think you would be smart and serve the customer that got there first. But it’s whatever, just don’t let the brand name fool you. If you want quick service, I suggest you don’t get your ice cream here.

Anywhere in Waikiki is going to be expensive, so the ice cream following suit is no surprise. The two girls behind the counter were nice. Ice cream was good too. Place was clean and service was quick.
Guess they fired the previous workers that won them bad reviews. Would have loved to have that random guy try and make us move, would have been fun telling him to go pack sand.
They do take credit card but there is no place for a tip so do come with cash.

Loved the service and samples. Got 2 of my favorite flavors strawberry and cookies & cream! The price and the portions on the ice-​cream is the only thing I really think they could work on. Overall it was very tasty :)

RUDE! Why pay so much to get ice cream I can get everywhere else and on top of that be harassed?
Going on our first 24 hours in Waikiki: My honey and I were relaxing at one of the provided tables in front of the dinky little shop while I ate my waffle cone ice cream. Not even one minute after throwing away my ice cream garbage, this random man is asking us not to take up his table in front of his business which is reserved for his clients. I didn’t know that we could not digest the ice cream we bought at «his store» at the table (I’m sure he approved of placing) there. I’d rather spend my money at a mom and pop shop than support this millionaire’s big head!

Very rude! My girlfriend wanted ice cream. We pay $ 7 for a cone. Decided to relax in front at a table and enjoy the view while we eat there expensive icecream. 10min goes by and we had just finished the ice cream. Than out of nowhere, this rude gentle men interrupts our conversation and said «you guys need to move, because my customers need somewhere to sit while they eat there ice cream» WOW!
To top it off, I think he was actually driving by, and pulled over just to walk over to us and tell us to leave. Insane and rude.
Very rude customer service.

No free cone day. No signs posted. No mention online. Walked from Kapahulu. What a great Unilocal event! I usually go there about 4 times a month when I am in Waikiki. Not any more. THANKS HAAGEN DAZ!

We ordered two cups — one large, one regular — and paid $ 12.21 for them. Kinda pricey, but then, maybe a Waikiki price. Ice cream tasted fine — we had the strawberry cheesecake and the dulche de leche.
There were two workers behind the counter: one looked like she did not want to be there working (no «hello», no smile while serving us and other customers — she was interesting to observe from afar), the other we saw taking an ice cube from the container holding the bottle of water and proceeded to put it in her mouth in front of us with no hesitation. Made us question sanitation.
Overall, other than the workers’ blatant entertainment, experience at this Haagen Daz shop was and okay one. Would we come back? We will see. ..

I always like the taste of Haagen-​Dazs ice cream. I ordered Pralines and Cream and my kids had Strawberry and Midnight Cookies and Cream. Sticker shock though, on the price, which was $ 4.11 each for a single scoop «Kiddie cup!» But wait a minute, now! We are full-​time residents here and thus qualify for the Kamaaina discount… yay! A whopping 5% off… boo! So, with tax those three little cups cost us a total of $ 12.25. Most expensive ice cream I’ve ever had. So, naturally I savored all eight bites very, very slowly!

A small scoop of ice cream on a waffle cone and a regular scoop of ice cream on a cup set us back by $ 10.91. I had the salted caramel truffle… creamy goodness!

$ 4 ain’t bad for a kiddie scoop of ice cream in Waikiki, and nothing (fro-​yo for example) will ever satisfy you as much as good old fashioned unhealthy ice cream!
If you like peanut butter as much as I do, try their chocolate peanut butter!

Went here when mom and I stayed at this hotel back in 2006. Good ice cream drinks/​shakes, but way too expensive!

Dinky little shop with standard ice cream fare.
Cost to worth it rating: 2 (over $ 8 for a sundae)
Highlights:
— Big Island Dazzler: was eyeing this ad my whole trip. Scoop of macadamia nut ice cream and pineapple ice cream with big island shortbread cookie chunks throughout laced with hot fudge. Yummy combo.
Lowlights:
— Location: hidden in the side of the building, very small
— Staff: bored teens going through the motions and not paying attention to special requests (ex. light on the whipped cream)
— Flavors: with the exception of a few tropical ones, just the standard fare you can get anywhere
I’ve satisfied my craving for the sundae, so I think from now on I’ll patronize the local shops.

What I don’t understand is why people hire employees that do not speak English! I just witnessed a man go to the counter and ask for a Root beer float and the girl looked at him, looked at the machine, and started pouring Fruit Punch!!! Then she said, «Punch float?“That was after she spilled my shake on the counter two times!!!
