Located in the Hilton Village, it’s one of the bars near the big pool. They close early in the evening and due to the fact of the pool closing for the night as well. They only have a select few drink specials throughout the week so it’s not easy on the wallet. I think we spent about $ 25 for two drinks– one being a beer. Ouch. But again, I expect that here. The bartenders were really nice and attentive. Always checking on us with a smile. There are several screens along the back with sports games on. It was nice for the hubby to catch the Vikings game while out of town. Yeah they could be better but it could be worse. :)

Hau tree bar in the Hilton complex has a spectacular view and friendly staff. The food is good if a little resort priced. Drinks are mostly ice. It’s right by the kid pool so I have a feeling they’re not looking to me as their target demographic.

Absolutely Love the Hau Tree Bar. Not sure there is a better group of bartenders anywhere in the world. Joe is a great guy who has been there 40+ years, add in Edy, Armond, Dane, Chester, Ricky, and all the other guys makes this one of my favorite bars in the world and I’ve been ago a lot countries. .Its not cheap but its also sitting on the best real estate in the world. See you guys in December.

We stayed at the Hilton and came here one day when we arrived because we were starving and wanted a light bite. We ordered the chicken cobb sandwich and it came out as a premade cold sanwhich, with fake looking bacon and nasty chicken. Sent it back and ordered a panini, which are also premade. It’s literally a slice of cheddar inside panini bread, barely melted all the way. Even worse was the service. Our waitress was rude and very short with us. She even rushed us to pay our bill saying her shift was over. The following day we were sitting by the pool and observed her being very rude to other people too. She needs a major attitude adjustment. We didn’t bother to get drinks because we were so bummed. I would definitely not recommend. I cannot believe they serve this to tourists who pay so much to stay at this resort.

The service was exceptional! Kacey is by far the best waitress I’ve experienced since my arrival at the Hilton Village.

My wife and I had great food and drinks. The appetizers were great and the atmosphere just right. We would definitely go back.

At least when I was there, this was a quiet poolside bar set between the pool and the beach. Great setting. The waitress was quick and efficient. I ordered food and didn’t realize it wasn’t cooked on demand. She just picked up pre-made food from Pronto Pickle. But it wasn’t bad and I enjoyed the view while sipping a beer and having a sandwich.

Excellent service, friendly bartenders and delicious drinks. My favorite was the mango mojito. The kids favorites were the virgin Piña Coladas. It’s conveniently located between the beach, pools & bathroom.

This is the outside bar along the beach sidewalk of the Hilton Hawaiian Village in Wakiki. It’s a fairly standard bar with a handful of craft beers and all the tropical frozen drinks you can imagine… you know the kinds with the mini umbrellas and electric Kool Aid colors. The greatest thing about this bar is — location, location, and location. It’s nice to stare out into the beach side and even people watch a bit all the while in your shorts and flip flops soaking up the Hawaiian sun. As always in Waikiki… expect tourist higher prices for the drinks… but hey… you’re on vacation so enjoy the experience, the view, and the drinks

My friend and I were searching for a bar to get a drink and enjoy the Hawaiian sunset after a day of trekking around the island. We had checked out a couple of other bars before stopping here. The other bars were pretty full with standing room only. After sitting down at an outside table, I ordered a piña colada and my friend had a glass of pinot grigio. I can’t speak for the glass of wine, but my piña colada was not so good yet a bit pricey. I guess that’s why I have one maybe every 15 years. At least you can’t beat the view of the ocean!

A pretty average beach bar that felt like everything was a few dollars more expensive for no reason other than it was attached to the Hilton. You can walk another couple hundred feet down the beach, save some money, and have an identical experience at The Barefoot Bar. What really pushed me over the edge of not liking this place was the food. The whole reason we went here is because I assumed what they’d be serving would be better than your typical bar food, being the Hilton and all. I got a sandwich I think I paid something around $ 11 for which looked like and came in the exact same packaging the sandwiches they sell at the ABC stores come in. Don’t bother with this place unless you’ve just got Hilton Honors points to burn or some other reason to eat subpar food and drink the same drinks that are available everywhere else for way more money.

The ambiance was amazing. Hear the sounds of the waves and feel the night breeze coming from both sides of the hotel. We went to the bar because of our late check in. The food was just OK but we expected more based on the prices. We had the skewers and chips, but both were not that memorable.

I stopped while at the beach to have a quick drink, I must say the drink was perfect, and the waiter was incredible, and good conversation. I don’t typically drink w/out eating so I took under consideration the food comes from around the corner so I said no worries and ordered the chicken wings. Can you possibly go wrong on Chicken Wings.NO. and to my surprise, the chicken wings were fresh, hot, and good. The server forgot my sauce, within 5 minutes I had sauce and was dipping everything. Overall, its a nice little spot off the beach next to the hotel, can’t go wrong, keep it simple. If you want dinner, or 5 star this isn’t it. It serves its purpose.

Food menu is really bad, our server is polite enough, but not good. She came by to drop the food, then we didn’t see her again for about 20 – 30 minutes. Spinach salad is definitely a NO, pre-packaged in a plastic container at $ 12. Other than the scenery, there’s absolutely no reason to come here. If You’re stuck at the hotel & can’t get away, I suppose this would have to do in order to survive.

We stopped by the Hau Tree Bar to check out their drinks during HH. The drinks are not blended well here. They either don’t have the juices chilled before blending, or they take so long to get the drinks out that they are half melted by the time you get it. If you’re hanging out by the super pool, start early and get some chairs closer to the bar. This way your drinks come out first and won’t melt by the time it gets to the other side of the pool. The only drink we liked was the Chi Chi. Skip drinks with the fruit purée, unless you like sipping on syrup.

First experience was the worst. Me and my mother along with Lisa L and her mother sat down at a table as soon as we saw a free one. It was about 7:10ish. We sat and waited. Nobody came by. Finally around 7:20, a server(named Linda) rushes to our table and starts telling us(in a loud obnoxious way), «We’re closed. We’re CLOSED. WE’RECLOSED!» and then walks away. Um… Ok. Not the way to do business. We then see her serving drinks to other tables. She comes back 10 minutes later and says«We’re closed. We closed at 7:30 and last call was at 7:15». Well funny thing that we got there before last call(the first two were there since around 7ish and the rest of the group showed up after we did and she was serving them drinks). We left pretty pissed and embarrassed since she so loudly reprimanded us in front of everyone at the bar. My next experience was on our last night here. Went straight to the bar since it was around 7:15 and I didn’t feel like a repeat performance of our first visit. Bartender was super friendly and super fast. Next time I’m going straight to the bar to order instead of worrying about the off-chance that I have to deal with Linda.

The beer I had, a Long Board Lager, was not cold, not warm, but not cold. Service was fine, not super and not bad. Just fine. But, I was on the beach in Hawaii, so that must count for something! Maybe I should give them another star? Nah. It truly was, jus A-OK. I did visit them more than once while staying at the Hilton, but it was never really more than A-OK.

Skip this place! $ 7 for wine served in a plastic cup. Had wine here on two separate occasions– first server was rude, the second had better customer service skills.(This is the Hilton Hawaiian– customer service should always be top-notch!) First server was also nowhere to be found– had to walk up to the bar to find her & tell her where I was sitting. Didn’t want to leave my laptop at the table looking for a server, y’ know? Bar closes at 730p, yet I was rushed with last-call at 640p, by the same lousy server. At least I was able to get free peanuts at the bar!
