This a review for a condominium project that isn’t even built yet. It’s still in its infancy as the foundational work is just gaining speed but with all the rain this past summer, chances are we won’t move in until around this time next year. Hauoli Lofts is a nine unit complex one block makai of South King Street, right around the corner from Sanoya and Mediterraneo. It’s an absolutely convenient location(as evidenced by an official Walkscore) that rates accessibility via one’s own two feet. I’m excited at the prospect of living here — seems super convenient(versus just convenient at my current condo). I was looking for a little cottage with a small yard for the doggie but fell in love with the concept of Hauoli Lofts. Industrial but not too much, open floor plan but enough room to be creative with layouts, two bedrooms on the first level and on the second level(yes! there are levels) is the master and a bonus bump out to use as a reading nook or indoor tanning salon, or personal workout space, or yoga studio. Or just a place to hang out. Two parking stalls and a BBQ deck round out the amenities. Oh and I think there’s a small doggie park so it really is pet friendly. I’ll let you know when it’s done. Not sure about a housewarming party, but there should be a reason to get together, right?
