0 stars really needs to be an option. I have no idea what their performance is like, but I saw all I needed to see today. An entire parking lot of cars got stuck behind them this afternoon while they unloaded their gear at Nice Day Chinese Restaurant in Liliha Square. Blocking the lane for almost 5 minutes so that no one could move. There would’ve actually been enough room for cars to pass, but the driver either didn’t know how to park, or didn’t care. All of us actually just waited(even though traffic was backed up on to both Vineyard and Liliha because of them), but when the unloading stopped and they continued to just hang out by the van, I honked my horn. Another minute went by, everyone cleared out, van is still just sitting there. I honked again and the van moved. As I moved past them, one of the men jumped in front of my car, started screaming at me, and refused to move. A security guard to finally got him to move. Uh, YOU were the one blocking the lane dude, not me. Unbelievable. I called the restaurant, got the name of the group, and even spoke to one of their people. All she did was sarcastically repeat over and over again«thank you for your comments.» No apology, no sincerity. I found them on Facebook, pictures and all, and the crazy guy who jumped in front of my car is Kelfred Chang. What was so hard about just saying«sorry», Kelfred? So I don’t know if they do a good lion dance or not, and now I’ll never know because I won’t use them, and will discourage others from doing so also. What I do know is that the point of the lion dance is prosperity, blessings, and good energy, and I can’t imagine how people that act so selfishly and aggressively could bring that energy to any celebration.
