We parents have a lot of choices when it comes to care for our kids. While most options are simply fine (afterall almost any MD can vaccinate a child, or diagnose an ear infection), what if you had the chance to introduce your child to an exceptionally happy and caring doctor — one who in addition to being a competent and in medicine, was also a kind and trust inspiring person, and someone you’d want to give a hug or get a hug from?
That’s what you get with Dr Waipa. She’s down to earth and friendly, and guess what SHE LISTENS! I trust Dr Waipa, and both my kids have been happy visiting her for the past few years. No major health issues (knock on wood) so Dr Waipa has been keeping us healthy with checkups and flu shots too.
Oh, also she is a graduate of both Stanford and Harvard, so if that kind of stuff matters to you (it should!) then she’s got you covered. She used to treat some of my extended family at «the comp» in Waianae, so if you want someone who is community-​minded and humble (you should!) then she’s got you covered there too. No fuss, just great. Go Dr Waipa!

When your doctor is a Harvard & Standford alumnus, you know they have to be one smart cookie. Top that with a sweet smile/​personality and you have Dr. Jasmine Waipa.
Dr. Waipa makes me feel that she really cares for my children. When my infant was having trouble putting on weight, we came in several times just to follow ups. I genuinely felt her concern for my daughter.
I honestly don’t know how many visits we’ve had in the past four months, but I always leave satisfied. I have never felt so confident with a doctor as I am with Dr. Waipa. Thank you for being the best!
When visiting, the parking lot entrance is on Beretania St (one-​way street). Parking is $ 2.50 with validation. I’ve paid a little more because I took too long to get to my car. Lot also takes cards. Yay!
The office is on the 10^th floor. You’ll have to take the park lot elevator down to the lobby. Jump back on the main building elevator directly to the right.
