Hazel Lee

Hazel has been cutting and coloring my hair since 1994, which is crazy to think about but makes sense because she is so good at what she does. Hazel is friendly, caring, super talented and always tries to fit me in when I call her impulsively, which is most times. I’ve tried one or two people over the years, especially when Hazel moved from town to Hawaii Kai, but regretted my decision and went running back to her. Hazel has been cutting my daughter’s hair since she was little and my daughter has loved her cut every time. She works super hard and cares a lot. When she isn’t cutting hair she sews blankets, bags, and other fun stuff that she sells for really reasonable prices. I would recommend Hazel Lee to anyone of any age, hair color and style. She can do it all.

A chance appointment due to convenience back in the late 1980’s has grown into a friendship that has spanned decades! Hazel’s talent is just one of the reasons for this. It’s not just her ability to consistently achieve exactly what I have asked of her. Its not only the fact that I have recommended numerous friends and associates to Hazel over the years, and each and every one has come back to thank me for the introduction and have gone back to Hazel whenever possible. She is an extremely competent hair-​cutter and stylist, and an accomplished chemical technician. She is truly an artist and a professional who takes pride in everything she does.
Hazel has her own line of haircare products, and she is also very knowledgeable about other beauty items on the market. She uses these products on a daily basis and her recommendations are based on her experiences with them. You can always count on her for an honest and unbiased opinion of any haircare product.
A few months back, Hazel relocated to Koko Marina. The free parking is a plus, and the upbeat atmosphere in the salon is wonderful. But, truly, I would have followed Hazel wherever she went, even if she was cutting hair in her garage!
I can go on and on about Hazel. She cuts my hair, she cuts both my son’s hair, she does my wife’s bosses hair. She did the hair and make-​up for my wedding party, etc., etc., etc.

I’ve been a client of Hazel’s for at least 22 years and she is at the top of her craft. She excels as a colorist and master in cut and style. You will not be disappointed. Most of her clients have been with her for years which speaks for itself. Now that she is in Hawaii Kai, this means much easier parking and less traffic! Yeah! You’re the best!

I love escaping to your new salon where the environment is friendly and easy going. I also enjoy your color products which are all organic!..
