I saw how they doing pizza. She took my money first, then she start put pineapple and chicken on slice. She even didn’t wash her hand. Meanwhile one more man came, she also took his money and continue put chicken on slice.

The food greatly reflected the restaurant’s name; for the life of me, I can’t remember the name(but now I do because I googled it), but just the same, the food was quite unremarkable. My friend and I walked about Waikiki in search of Marukame Udon, a place we’d been before and had wanted to go again. Instead, we met a «CLOSED» sign, so we had to change directions. After wandering for twenty minutes, we finally settled on a small eatery in the International Market Place. As far as ambiance goes, the place(which I will call Noodle Nonsense for the sake of giving it a name) was a part of a larger food court, featuring other sellers of different cultures – Filipino, Korean, Japanese – just a typical local flavor. The time of day yielded to minimal customers – there were a few other parties besides my own, but overall it was pretty quiet. It is important to note that when buying anything in Waikiki, you should have at least twenty dollars in cash. I was forced to pay the service charge fee to take out money from the ATM because of this. Regardless, when I ordered my food, I perused the menu. It was a simple one with images of every dish they had(designed to entice, I suppose) and the price in the corner. As far as prices go, it was relatively expensive(more than I had anticipated to spend had I gone to Marukame Udon), but it was typical of the type of food. The menu included items such as various types of ramen, curries, and a strange adjunct menu of Italian pastas. I ended up ordering Chicken Katsu Ramen. The portion size was good enough to fill my stomach. The broth was incredibly hot, and I accidentally singed my taste buds off when I tried to sip some of it. That had nothing to do with Noodle Nonsense, though; that was just me. The food had a bland taste. The chicken katsu was a bit soggy, but that is on account of it being put into the soup. I asked for no bean sprouts, and they didn’t give me any(I hate when I go to a restaurant and ask for something taken out and receive the food with it still there.) The quality of the food matched the quality of everything else – it was just average. However, to make up for the bland food, they had friendly customer service. The woman who took my order was very smiley. They had a lot of workers on hand even though there weren’t many customers, and they handled very professionally. The food also came quickly, which was nice because it gave time for Tara and I to go get dessert elsewhere. Overall, I would give the restaurant a 2⁄5. I wouldn’t really recommend it unless you truly have nowhere else to go; perhaps they have other things that taste better than what I ordered, but I won’t be visiting to find out(assuming I’d be able to even find it again).

I go to this place every single time I’m at the International Market Place food court. It hits the spot for good comfort food, and at a reasonable price too! My favorites include the sauteed chicken and rice, shrimp fried rice, udon, the Kim Chi ramen, and best of all, the Chicken Katsu Curry. Oh, and the fact that the place has spam musubi is awesome! Nice owner as well. Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a quick meal while shopping at the IMP.

As a self-proclaimed New York ramen snob, I wasn’t wowed by any stretch of the imagination by the Chicken Katsu Ramen. The chicken was decent and the broth, which was nicely flavored with scallions, tasted good, but the noodles were a bit chewy and I’ve had better and more flavorful ramen out of the package. That said, food in Waikiki is pricey and the food court at International Marketplace had plenty of seating and even a hula performance when we arrived. We got our ramen quickly and walked around the shops after. If I were craving ramen and in the area, I’d consider coming back for a quick bite or two.

There are better options for ramen. Go to marukame if you want udon. We were in a rush so we came here for a quick bite. Kinda pricey($ 9 + tax) for ramen being served at IMP food court in a plastic bowl.

Solid 3 stars. I guess if I were hankering for noodles, this would be fine. I’ve had packaged noodles that were better(Hello, Neoguri)! The gyozas(chicken) were better tasting. I won’t likely return, since there’s just too much good stuff here to try. They were one of the few businesses open late in the food court, which was pretty smart of them, since everyone was ordering there.

I wandered into the International Market Place in search of a quick bite to eat and found this restaurant. I was pleasantly surprised by the variety of food on the menu. I ordered the chicken katsu, and I have to say that it probably ranks among the best chicken katsu I’ve ever had. I’ve never actually had anything else on the menu, but I do go back from time to time just for the katsu. The service is super friendly, and the food comes out quite quickly.

Just stopped by and grabbed chicken Katsura curry with rice and shrimp with udon noodles, really good! Got a couple of pieces of fried chicken and it was OK. Definitely the noodles and curry are what to go for here. Extremely nice lady running the place and appreciate all the pictures to choose from. They have like 50 food choices so there is a lot to choose from. The ramen looked good too…

One morning before hitting the pool, I had extreme noodle cravings. I looked up where to go and when I arrived they were not open! I was not about to give up, so as I grumpily walked around the beachfront area of Waikiki, I found the Food Court of the International Market open. Although I am a big fan of checking Unilocal reviews, I decided to take a step out on my own and give this place a try based on the food photos and the fact that I was craving some Kim Chee Ramen, so bad. I ordered a bowl and a diet coke and waited about 5 – 7 minutes for my ramen. I was so very pleased with my noodles and it instantly snapped me back into a non-hungry girl good mood so I could get on with my day. I’m not sure about anything else they have here, but my ramen was so good.

Ive only been here once so I can only rate it based on what ive had so far. I ordered the Chicken Marinara… aka Spaghetti with chicken patty. It cost $ 8.95 for the plate and came with a garlic bread stick. The garlic bread was good. Id consider going back just for that by itself. The spaghetti plate was nothing special. It did take a while for them to cook my order but when it came out, it was hot! Its not pre-made. I probably would have given them another star if they chicken they used was real chicken. Instead, they used a chicken patty, the frozen kind that you can buy at the grocery store to make your own chicken sandwiches. I’ll be back to try some of their other menu items because they have over 50 of them posted with pictures in the front of their counter.

Nothing much to say here except these few words: Owner’s super nice. I ordered the Kimchi Ramen here one morning because they were the only ones open; was neither here nor there, just ok. The(free) water they served was ice cold and didn’t taste like it came from the faucet. Nice.

Cheap… decent food… and quick On the run in Waikiki? What a quick bite to eat before hitting the surf in Honolulu? Hokaido Noodle House(yes there is pizza too) serves Katsu, ramen, and other various Japanese food. Because it is located inside the International Market Place,. sometimes there is live music . If you’re not too picky and are on a budget. decent place to go A place that serves Pizza and ramen… Morimoto Waikiki doesn’t even have that

Not too expensive. Reasonably good taste. Fairly quick. A good choice for a quick bite. Had the gyoza, veggie stir-fried noodles and the fried rice with chicken. Gyoza were the veggie kind. Filling was a bit mushy and tasted mostly of ginger. Veggie noodles were a little oily and could have used more types of veggies(mostly cabbage). A good portion though for the price. Fried rice with chicken was tasty… surprisingly good chicken. Solid white meat nicely breaded and fried with a drizzle of sauce.

My friend and I were craving ramen and immediately this place caught our attention. They serve pizza and ramen, so I wasn’t too sure if their noodles are good or not. i ended up getting kimchi ramen which was actually pretty good. It wasn’t the best I’ve had but I was satisfied with it. The flavor was just right and the portion was good for the price! It was really good especially after a night of drinking! I like that it is also located in the International Market, which is walking distance from our hotel.

Although there are a lot of food vendors in the international marketplace, the odd combination of a pizza/noodle spot caught my attention so I thought I’d give it a try. I’ve tried a few items on their menu but I’d have to give the 5 star rating to their fried rice. Great price for a large portion. It’s not greasy or bland like most places. It’s light, fluffy, crispy, and very delicious!

***************** REVIEW401 ****************** Inside of the International Market Food Court. They serve pizza, pasta, and ramen in 1 shop? It can’t be that good, but for a quick bite, not bad & all was under 10 bucks. It’s a fast food choice & it’s a whole lot better than McDonald’s or Taco Bell for sure.

I was in Waikiki on business and wanted something to eat but it was pretty late and this was one of the few places open. I got something simple just so I could try and avoid disappointment but it happened anyway. I got Shrimp Fried Rice and the shrimp were tiny and it tasted horrible. No taste whatsoever. Maybe their other dishes are good but this experience for me «Eek! Methinks not»

Chicken Katsu and Curry Rice… seems like an odd combination you’d think, but I was actually pleasantly surprised! This dish ran me close to $ 10, but the portion size was huge! Well worth it based on taste and amount of food. This place also has pizza and pasta… which is an odd combination. They have combination specials when it comes to the Italian food, but not the Japanese cuisine. Pizza combos run around $ 8 and pasta runs around $ 10, which include either a salad or bread-stick and a soft drink.

A slice of cheese pizza. Hot and yummy even after our dinner at Saigon Express. Good bread. Tasted like plain tomato paste, but it was oddly still really good.
