Soooo worth the food. It’s not a crowded place because not much people know about it. But after my boyfriend and I went to the beach, we really wanted a plate lunch, and we were extremely surprised with the portions for such a good price and how fast our food was made. Definitely worth giving this place a try!

Things are pretty legit here. Very solid no frills place. Decent prices… sizable portions. Clean dining area with AC. You’re probably not going to stumble onto this area unless you either lost or looking for something in one of the warehouses nearby. Puts some of the more higher rated(and more expensive) Hawaiian places to shame.

Could not process the smell in Alicia’s market so I decided to give this place a try. They have the best kalbi plate lunch on the island. It comes with mac salad and kimchi. I would eat here more often if I wasn’t a tourist.

Good food! Very nice people. We had a 3 hr layover in honolulu, on our way to Maui, and took the 19 bus to Puuhale to grab a bite to eat. We didn’t want to go to Waikiki because we were worried we’d miss our flight. Filipino, korean, and hawaiian food. Great poke next door at Alicia’s market.

This place is next door to Alicia’s Market in Kalihi. I’ve passed by this place numerous times as I walked into Alicia’s to buy poke, roast pork, char siu and boiled peanuts but never tried it until today. There’s normally a line at the window during lunch so I figure the food must be pretty good. This place is a mix of traditional plate lunches, burgers, Korean BBQ and Filipino food. So pretty much you’re sure to find something you like. Breakfast is served all day as well so if you missed the 10:30am deadline at some places you can always stop by here and order that omelet you’re craving. To keep things interesting there have specials of the day Monday to Saturday. Today’s specials were Shrimp Curry, Roast Beef, Stuffed Cabbage, Chicken Long Rice, Chicken Teriyaki and Pinacbet. Everything was $ 6.25 tax included expect for the Shrimp Curry at $ 7.25 tax included. I tried the Chicken Long Rice and instead of the traditional dish it was more like a Chop Chae with chicken. It was really good if you don’t mind that it didn’t have any soup. While waiting for my order I heard about 3 other patrons order the spicy chicken so I think I’ll try that next time. Hours: Monday to Saturday 5AM to 2PM.
