This park is usually empty and not too many kids but it’s a little filthy. I do wish it was a bit cleaner and more up kept here. My little one seems to enjoy the park regardless! Lots of grassy areas to run and playground with slides. Also a tennis court.

There’s batting cages!!! Every sunday i come here to watch the softball league. Run from 8am to about 12? not too sure since i leave right after my bf’s games end. Great that i can bring my dog, and huge since they have two games going on at once!

For a noticably change of pace and scenery, I ran by here and checked in. I knew this place existed, but it was not on my usual route for running — until recently. It was nice to have a detour at times, especially when the usual route gets boring and unfulfilling. With that said, I came across this community park when there was a baseball game with the young kids and their parents around. I thought that was cute, seeing that I used to had memories of playing soccer at a young age. The screams of the parents could be heard every so often, which was pretty cool. It’s great that the park gets plenty of use and the surrounding community gets some green space for every resident in the community to enjoy. There are good facilities here to foster a sense of community here. Restrooms are a must, but there are playground equipment for the kids to play on. The park is in an affluent neighborhood(Kahala), but anyone could come over here and play. It’s quite safe during the day and through the early evening. There is quite a plethora of parking along the residential streets nearby, so that’s pretty cool. You can play just about any sport you can think of, especially with the tennis courts. Maybe next time, when I can bring my racket and be like Andre Aggassi for an afternoon. A++

My kids loooove this park, I personally think for this neighborhood the park needs a serious over haul. New equipment, especially the swings because two out of one are broken they should be fixed. Aside from that the bathrooms are clean and it’s a great place kids to play and meet up on the weekends =) But really they need to at least fix the broken equipment, considering all the taxes this neighborhood pays it could be better! Parking can be tough on the weekends but other than that it’s a great park…

We stopped by Kahala Community Park with our 4-year-old who really needed to blow off some steam. This is an expansive park and we could see it was well-used and loved by the neighbors. There were two football games going on and lots of kids playing while we were there. Features: * Play structures * Swings * Tennis courts * Football field * Tether ball poles(BYOB?) * Restrooms * Parking lots(completely full — we parked down the block and around the corner) It looked like they have a community center there as well, but I didn’t investigate. When we left, he was exhausted and fell asleep in the car on the way home.
