I drive by this park daily and this was the first time I stopped by. This park is a wreck. Cracks in the foam flooring, cracks in the side, bridge is being held up by three chains instead of four, lots of graffiti and lots of cracks in the actual stairs. Pretty dangerous. I let my son play on the one slide that wasn’t falling apart. It’s pretty sad considering there aren’t that many parks in this area and the ones that are here are in such disarray. I wrote to Stanley Chang’s team back in February regarding the missing handicap ramps at the entrance of this park and til this day, those ramps are no where to be seen. I wrote them again in August and nothing. It’s pretty sad.

Um… it’s a freakin’ park! I can’t believe that Unilocal let’s you review parks. Well, here goes nothing… Official Unilocal Review Park Checklist for High-Quality Park Goodness * Grass — check! * Trees — check! * Room to run around in your play clothes — check! * Bathrooms — check! * Various fields for different kinds of outdoor activities — check! * Skate park where kids and wanna be kids can be cool and rebellious in a safe environment — check! * Water fountains — check! * Community Garden — check! * Available outlet to plug in cell phone, iPod, iPad, laptop, iPhone, etc. because the emo teenager you brought to the park to get some fresh air doesn’t want to be seen or associated with you in any way or because dad has the kids this weekend and his idea of «quality time» is texting his new girlfriend about what a bitch his ex-wife is while the kids run around and play by themselves — TBD There ya go… Kamilo Iki Community Park. Fun for the whole family! P. S. It’s kind of like a TARDIS park… it’s a lot bigger than it looks.
