Attached to the Courtyard Waikiki this coffee shop is good in a pinch. The coffee itself is pretty average, the staff is just average and the food selections are limited. To be honest, walk two blocks and go to Starbucks for a better coffee/snack.

Hard to find, inside of the hotel on the 2nd floor. Coffee bar also doubles as an actual bar. Bonus if you like ‘extras’ in your coffee. Very small inside so I’m not sure how the bar functions at night. Service was fast but non friendly. The coffee was the best I have had so far in Waikiki. Beats Starbucks and all others so far. May go back just for more cofee.

Very consistent service and product. I always order the Pipeline which consists of 4 shots of expresso and flavored with Caramel. Twenty ounces for $ 6.95…not bad!

Located in the lobby of the Marriott courtyard Waikiki this is a nice little coffee shop find. They have good selection of breakfast from the local spam and egg roll, oatmeal, waffles and muffins. Great coffee and coffee drinks. But here’s the kicker. They have acai bowls. Made with bananas, strawberries, granola and honey they are great. Seemed like the crushed acai was pre made but was still excellent. Very friendly staff and they open early.

CONS: horrible coffee. We have tried this place several times. I drInk my Americano coffee black(no milk or sugar that might hide the un-drinkable off flavor of their coffee). Each time I threw the coffee away after two sips. My wife drinks lattes … Even she threw her coffee away. The last time I went, the Espresso machine was broken. We only have this place several tries because it is in the hotel I stay at for business. PRO: Starbucks is only a block away.

Nice, hip, clean little place in base of Courtyard Marriott, across from IHOP. There’s a Starbucks a block down, but blow that off. The coffee here is superior: tasty, local, and they make their small Cappuccino with the proper two shots, instead of Starbucks chintzy one shot. A new local fav.

Great coffee, reasonable prices and delicious croissant breakfast sandwiches. Did I mention the coffee was really good?

Meh. Kinda nasty ice coffee, unbelievably. No nuance of flavor in their«kona blend». Only go if you need coffee, have no time. Both servers were pretty indifferent to their clientele, no words wasted, no smiles wasted on us.

At over $ 5+ per sandwich, the service could have been much better. Grilled chicken pesto and grilled ham and cheese — burnt toast! White mocha was aight, even if she forgot to add the whipped cream which I had asked.

I hope I am reviewing the correct location… located in the lobby of the Marriott Courtyard… Extremely friendly counter person named Katie gave me lots of help, with a great attitude and smile. Went in here in a bad mood, and left happy! Very reasonably priced drinks.

Best coffee ever! I am a coffee enthusiast and I’m totally wondering where has Kona coffee been all of my life?! After checking out the Unilocal reviews for a coffee shop near my hotel, I was intrigued by Kimobean. I figured that it was worth a try. I’m so glad that I did. The Kona blend was amazingly smooth and flavorful, exactly what coffee should be. The prices were comparable with those of other coffee shops. I’m sad that I we don’t have a Kimbobean in Los Angeles, and even sadder that my trip to Honolulu has ended. The staff was nice. We were able to sign the wall in the store. Nice tourist attraction! The ham and egg breakfast croissant was very good. It was fresh, very flaky, and buttery. Loved this place.

I came here looking for some good coffee, and definitely found what I was looking for. Spam and egg bun for breakfast, with a small coffee definitely made my morning. The pastry was small, but satisfying. Originally we wanted to get the waffle with fruit, but their fruit wasn’t available first thing in the morning. WHAT?! Did it not get cut? Did they not replenish their fruit stock? Was the fruit delivery running late? I was so shocked they did not have any fruit. I digress. I was tempted to buy a lb of beans, but decided not to since my luggage would be soaked in bean smell. The POG juice is also super delicious and fresh tasting. If you go, you must try it!

I love this place! I was introduced to this charming coffee shop last year when we stayed at the Courtyard. This year we stayed at a different hotel but I still came here for my breakfast & coffee. The coffee is great and I love love love the breakfast sandwich. It is made with a fried egg, cheese, ham on a crossiant. I am someone who wakes up hungry, have to have my egg in the morning & I’m an early riser. This place is perfect. They open at 6am so I can come chill here while the guests I am visiting with sleep in. I appreciate the fact that the breakfast sandwich is simple and freshly made. The croissant is buttery & flaky just the way it should be. Yum yum yum.

This was my daily coffee shop stop, but it never grew on me. The service is s-l-o-w. Yeah, I’m a pushy Washingtonian, so suck it. But there’s slow, Island Slow and screw you haole slow. Guess where this place lands? I don’t care about the sandwiches or the ice cream. I just want coffee. Usually, there’ d be two people working. Invariably, one person would be pulling coffee and the other would be dealing with sandwiches in the toaster over. Multitasking just ain’t gonna happen. So, I’d wait five minutes for a damn cup of coffee — plain.

I’ve been to KiMOBEAN Coffee twice, both of which were at the Courtyard by Marriott Waikiki Beach location. Both times I’ve been was because my fiancée and I were staying at the hotel. We aren’t really coffee drinkers and have only gone to KiMOBEAN for breakfast. The main reason why we tried KiMOBEAN the first time was due to the convenience and why we keep returning. Both times we have been to KiMOBEAN, we’ve ordered the same items. I order the breakfast croissant sandwich, which contains a fried egg, ham, and cheese. My fiancée, on the other hand, orders the the waffle with fresh strawberries, whipped cream, and maple syrup. Both items are good, but nothing special. On our first visit, we ate at KiMOBEAN, while the second time we took the food back to our room. Both times the taste and quality were the same. However, when we took the waffle to go, they pack it in t small, plastic take-out container. As a result, they cram the berries and whipped cream into tiny condiment containers. Because of this, you don’t have enough whipped cream or berries for the waffle. So if you ever stay at the hotel and want to eat waffles at KiMOBEAN, best thing to do is eat at the shop. On another note, they sale cups of POG at KiMOBEAN. The cups are quite small and costs $ 3.50! The Courtyard has good sized fridges, so it would be better if you just bought a carton of POG elsewhere and brought it with you. All-in-all, despite the issues, KiMOBEAN is a good option with decent quality food at decent prices considering that it is in a hotel.

INLOVE with Kimobean! I don’t drink coffee everyday, but during my trip I woke up every morning saying, «lets walk to Kimobean!» I always stopped myself, but I came into Kimobean midday on most days as a pick me up. The blended drinks are what got me hooked. They were so refreshing and smooth, no bitterness. The coffee flavor is very mild, the ice was crushed so finely that you can’t even tell it was in the drink, yet it added a little thickness to it. I tried all the freezes, but my favorites were the White Chocolate Mocha Freeze and the Mocha CoCo — a nice hint of coconut! The Cappucino Cookies & Cream would’ve been better if I could actually taste cookie crumbs in em, but still pretty good. The place is rather pricey for coffee drinks, but for something I won’t be able to have in awhile– it was worth it to me! They also have yummy breakfast pastries– from spam and egg pastries to huge croissants and muffins — the fiancé loved their pastry with chicken salad baked right in the middle. I also tried the waffle topped with sliced bananas — just your average waffle that you could make yourself… nothin to brag about… This location’s staff was nice, but they take their sweet time… use this time to check in on Unilocal, take pics, sign their wall and plan out your day!

Fresh zesty coffee and Spam musubi make for a compelling way to wake up. Service was great and friendly, despite the unreasonably early hour I decided to visit.

Hot dawg… a Mocha Freeze from here is good too! I seriously need to move to Oahu so I can get a good mocha frappé everyday!!! He added the espresso to the chocolate powder and whipped them together with an egg beater before he added it to the pot. I still like Island Vintage double Kona Mocha better, but this one being in my hotel was a bonus!!!
