Lam Howman MD

I’ve been visiting Dr. Lam probably since I was 5. He has always taken good care of me and my family. Hence, family physician.
My father had fallen ill when I was younger and Dr. Lam actually took time off from his evening to visit us at the hospital to check up on my dad. It’s been well over 12 years since then and I still remember that day because I appreciated the effort so much especially at a time we were so vulnerable.
He has never prescribed us medication that we did not need and the treatments he does suggest, usually works. I took an injection for a keloid (scar) on my back and it actually did go away. Although he said it could take up to 3 treatments, it eventually went away over time after the first treatment.
Dr. Lam also gives good advice and explanations as to why certain treatments may or may not be the right choice at the time. I believe that may just be the one thing that separates him from the other doctors I have. He takes the time to evaluate your situation and understand all symptoms before deciding on what would be the best route to take.
