Free and fast Wifi, without username and password. Beautiful, quiet, amazing library to study. The best library I visited in Hawaii until now.

A pretty spacious library and a good place to study. However, sometimes even though the second floor is supposed to be a quiet zone, sometimes inconsiderate students talk up there.

There are no Llamas here but there is much knowledge. It’s a library! Lama also means enlightenment and is a type of tree in Hawaiian. I come here multiple times during a semester to take midterms and final exams. All of my classes have been online only for a while now. Most professors require you to take your big tests in person. Sometimes it gets really cold here, so bring a jacket just in case! If you come here to take a test, the testing center check-in is located on the left right after you enter and the testing center is on the right. Restrooms are at the immediate left after entering. The Lama Library is located sort of in the middle of campus near the cafeteria overlooking the Great Lawn. Parking is a little walk away either off of Diamond Head Road or 18th Avenue.

This library is located on the kcc campus. You need proper I. d to check out books. Many of the professors place books up at the circulation desk during the semester so students can use the books to study instead of purchasing them from the book store. There is plenty of seating, private study rooms for group work, and individual cubicles located on the second floor. There are a bunch of desktops and laptops which can be rented all though you’ll need a login to connect to the internet. There are bathrooms and water fountains on each floor. They also mention therevare no food or drinks allowed on the library.

I’m sitting in this library as I type! I really have nothing to complain about. There’s a lot of seats and computers for students, and a quiet study area upstairs. The bathroom is clean, and the peer mentors and librarians are very helpful. It can get challenging to find a computer during lunch time since this is when almost everyone has a break. I can’t believe anyone didn’t write a review before this! Their services are only for the students to use, but I think the Sinclair library at UH Manoa is open to the public.
