The Waitress made us feel so uncomfortable for being there… we are NEVER going back! We called ahead of time and found out about their happy hour special(spend $ 40 in food and drink and get one hour free of the room and karaōke). We werent sure what we wanted to order, we just went there to sing karaōke. The place was dead. There was one other party in the main room and then us two girls in one room. The waitress lady rushed us for our order. We ordered a melona soju($ 19.95) which was horrible! The bottle was half-filled and filled mostly with ice. It just tasted bad! We werent hungry, but the lady kept trying to rush us to order something to meet the $ 40…but it wasn’t a big deal to us to get the hour free, so we weren’t in a rush to order anything. We just wanted to sing karaōke and maybe drink a little bit. Anyways, we ended up ordering the meat jun and fries. Both were unpleasing. The meat jun was the skinniest and smallest pieces of meat jun I had ever seen. The fries tasted like they were bought from costco. It was obvious they were either being stingy or cutting the servings to make up for lost profits or something… idk I felt played with, especially after ordering the soju! Everything was just so meh… after about ten minutes of sitting in there, we felt so uncomfortable like we were almost imposing on them. Whatever. We spent our $ 40 and one hour of karaōke and left-we are NEVER going back there!

Love this place. The workers are always so nice and friendly and they stay open later for a lil extra tip. Hehe. Been coming here for years from the old location. The food is pretty good also especially the 5−10pm deal spend 40 and get free karaōke is awesome.

Not really open during the day, but open late night, which is usually when I need it the most. Kalbi and soon dubu are my go-to dishes… Good stuff! Haven’t used the karaōke rooms, so can’t comment on that.

I’m going to say that it has been a while since I went to Little Seoul restaurant. It was behind the Walmart on Keeaumoku street area behind the HMSA area. It was a very good happy hour to just get the room for 3 hours for free. can’t go wrong right? I mean come on now… just go there and have a good time and got to just spend 40.00 worth of food items and the 3 hours of free singing at the room. It was a great deal to have and I am glad to see that everyone had a fabulousness time but here are some of the suggestions… update the song books with other current songs that are out on the radio as well as extend the free room offer after 9 pm so that way people who want to sing more can enjoy it as well as party it up and sing to their hearts content. .I am going to be back again for another time for the inexpensive happy hour deals and get my money’s worth so that’s way people who are wanting to stay longer can enjoy the extra 3 free hours of this 24 hour establishment and boom people will totally agree to attract customers and it will be booming and wanting more

I ate here before and ordered the meat Jun I was pretty drunk at the time and needed to fill my appetite so at the time was really good. Recently it was 10pm I was sober and nothing else was open. I ordered a to go meat Jun and side of fried mandoo. Came out to $ 25 but the sides for the meat Jun plate was some unedible Salad, a spam like mixture that I’ve never seen before with onions not good. And some old seaweed that had dikon which tasted like a old mop. The meat Jun was decent no sauce though. And the crispy mondoo was ok no sauce either. I think if I’m paying 25 it should come with sauce. Only eat this food if your drunk. I Should’ve went to zippys.

Eh, I’m having mixed thoughts about this place. Free karaōke with dinner sounds like a great deal and I just had to try it, so I invited a few people and we all crowded into one of their rooms and ordered some food. The food was good. My friends had kalbi plate and bibimpap, and I had mandoo and chive pancake which were nicely done as well, and they came with some kimchi and stuff so that was nice too. On a previous occasion I had the silkworm larvae which was interesting, the sauce was good too! The karaōke machine… it seems to have some of the recent popular songs like Uptown Funk, etc. but overall the machine seems like it’s a few decades old, oh and it’s all in Korean. They have a few English labels taped over the buttons and the waiter will briefly explain it to you but yeah, it’s a good thing I can actually read Hangul. They have songs in Korean, English, Japanese, Chinese, and a couple others. Also, the karaōke had a scoring system turned on that would give seemingly random scores after the song, and sometimes it would cut off in the middle of the song and go to the scoring… one time it cut my friend off and gave him 100 points which was hilarious… but it was actually kind of annoying. It would be nice if they would upgrade the system, I’m sure they have the touchscreen thingies in Korea like they do in Japan. Anyway, if you want an authentic Korean food/karaōke experience this is a good place to go… but a little more emphasis on the food I guess.

Ordered the Kimchee Ramen. It was literally a bowl of Top Ramen with store bought Kimchee dumped in. All I could taste was the Kimchee pickle juice. C’mon yobo, you can do better than that! So my bowl of frat-house chowder and a large Asahi set me back $ 18.95. Reluctantly tipped him $ 3 since he didn’t «cook» my disappointing meal. This left me with no money for spend at FunFactory! Bummahs!

This restaurant has delicious family style selections. Be sure to try the pork bone potato stew. It was very good and it served in a big hot pot plate which easily fed 5 people.

On the end of Puck’s Alley, Little Seoul II is small 24-hour Restaurant and Karaōke Bar. I went by for dinner. When I first walked in, I thought they were closed, the first half of the restaurant was not in use, and fixtures from the sushi restaurant Little Seoul II replaced was stored along the walls, unused. Braving deeper into the restaurant, we were the only table there, though we could hear people singing Korean songs in the next room and the staff were watching K-Dramas on TV. Prices are high for dinner, entrees are meant to be eaten family-style with a small group(4 – 5 people would be ideal for a good variety). Since there was only 2 of us, we ordered the Mandoo Soup and the Bulgogi Hot Pot, which we thought was a stone rice dish, but turned out to be a soup in a cast iron bowl. We were also given Rice and Ban Chan. The Mandoo Soup was the best for me of what we were served, simple, clear soup and big juicy mandoo. I didn’t care for the Bulgogi Hot Pot, the sukiyaki-style soup was too sweet for my preference, with Bulgogi beef, rice noodles, and green onions. The Ban Chan was skimpy and nothing special. A little Kim Chee, some Macaroni Salad, and a few picked Vegetables. If you do check them out, the best food prices are between 6 am and 3 pm when they have lunch specials – a big variety of the usual choices, meat jun, BBQ Chicken, Bulgogi, etc. which come with Rice and Ban Chan.

Open 24hrs. Very good Korean food and great prices for lunch. Not much English is spoken by the employees. I was supposed to meet Nat N at The Nook, but the line was really long so we ended up on the other end of Puck’s Alley, facing King Street, at this little Korean food place. MEATJUN $ 7.95(6am-3pm) — this was actually very good, the meat was soft and tender and the flavor was good even without the sauce. I’d come here again for take out. You don’t get to choose your banchan, but for the price, it’s a good deal, and you can get it for breakfast on your way to work. They do have a larger portion for dinner, but we went for lunch so we got the lunch portion/pricing. BBQCHICKEN $ 6.95(6am-3pm) — this was also very good. The chicken was very tasty and I would definitely get it to go again. SPAMPLATE $ 3.50(breakfast special) My son immediately said«THISISNOTSPAM» when he took his first bite. So do not call this a SPAM plate when it is fake spam. It is luncheon meat… and the sausage was like a Jimmy Dean sausage, not Portuguese sausage. You can’t fool that kid. He knows his spam and yes I know you shouldn’t order Spam at a Korean place but he just loves his Spam, what can I say. Service was slow. I had to help myself to a few things throughout our meal, and there was only one other table with people in the entire restaurant. The server didn’t quite understand what we wanted and pretty much just ignored us the whole entire meal. So I would just order ahead of time and do take out here, rather than go and sit through a meal in their dark room again.

$ 10 for a ½ sized Bi Bim Bap that really isn’t anything special. We tried many different things, most of which were merely OK. The kimchee pancake was good, but other than that the food was not so memorable, save for the MSG headache the next morning. The service was slow in general. Our waiter was on the bad side of inexperienced. The décor can be best described as an unfinished, better yet unstarted project. The place appeared closed from the street, and was nearly empty. With their current 3 star rating, I’m not surprised that it was empty. Now I just feel sorry for them, and embarrassed for not looking it up on Unilocal BEFORE I went to Little Seoul II.

I shouldn’t be telling you how awesome this place is because it’s gonna get too crowded, but oh well! I went here last night with a group of friends. There wasn’t anyone else inside when we went and I thought they might be closed until I noticed the open sign in the window. Since nobody was inside, I was a little scared that the food was going to be a really bad, but decided to be brave and give it a go anyway. We were seated right away and the two guys that were working came over to take our order pretty quickly. It was around 8 o’clock at night when we got there and they had happy hour which was going from 5 till 10. There were three different kinds of soju on the happy hour menu, melon, yogurt, and lemon, and we tried all three. Our favorite was the melon, our least favorite was the lemon. there was also a ton of different food on the happy hour menu and the karaōke rooms were also half off during happy hour($ 15/hr for a small room and $ 20/hr for a large room). We ordered a lot of food including the kimchi pancake, the chive pancake, the barbecue chicken plate, the kalbi plate, spicy kimchi ramen, and some sort of tofu ramen. Everything was delicious, but my favorite were the barbecue chicken plate and the chive pancake. That chive pancake was so good I could have eaten the whole thing by myself. After we ate, we moved to the karaōke room for an hour. It seemed like we were in there for a lot longer than an hour because we were having so much fun! The song selection was awesome but also kinda random. They had a lot of favorites and a lot of random stuff from popular bands, but they were missing some more obvious choices. For example, they had the song Tainted Love, but only the version by Marilyn Manson. The background videos were hilarious(random Korean drama type stuff and ads). After everything was done, our six pitchers of soju, all that food, and an hour of awesome karaōke cost us about $ 31 per person(there were six of us). Totally worth it! We will definitely be coming back!

Been here twice with a very close friend, whos my «Aura». I really enjoyed the fried mandoo, my friend had the grilled dried squid(really?).we both ate a little, but what was really fun was the karaōke rooms. private and cozy, I spent $ 150 on karaōke that night, was a little shocked, but when I thought about how much fun I had and of course who I was having it with, it became well worth the price ! bring your appetitie!

Ah. Woke up this morning and am eating leftover chive mandoo from last night’s solo adventure as I type this. Delish. Little Seoul II is located in Puck’s Alley area, right off of King Street. I was told by a security guard as I wandered aimlessly to turn on University and go park up the first ramp on the right(which was free for the evening.) Walked in and it was dead which surprised me– they’ve been getting a lot of promotion on 107.5, the local korean radio station. I was seated in a big booth with a Korean drama playing on the TV, and given the happy hour menu, regular menu, and drink menu. Happy hour menu was pretty extensive and priced decently for authentic Korean food. I ordered a bottle of chum churum soju($ 6 for happy hour, easily shared by 2), and chive mandoo($ 12, not on special but looked delicious), and my favorite, dolsot bibimbap($ 14, also not on special, although the regular bibimbap was). Unni took my order and came out rather quickly with the banchan and my soju. I wasn’t overly impressed with the banchan, especially the mac salad, but the cucumber kimchee was super yummy and I enjoyed the fishcake as well. When the mandoo came out, WOW. It was a huge appetizer, hence me having it for breakfast currently haha. So good though, with authentic dipping sauce. And my bibimbap was great, with a noticeable amount of meat in it and perfect portion. The service here was excellent as well, with Unni coming back and checking on me often and keeping my water filled. Then, another waitress brought out two different looking mandoo and said they were shrimp filled and just made! It tasted great and the sauce they brought out this time had super spicy peppers in it that I took too lightly and bit into, causing mouth to rage with fire, haha! But that’s how I like it! Overall, it was kind of quiet in there but I would definitely come back! I was informed they were going to start to be open for lunch too! I also spied a few karaōke rooms in the back, which are also specially priced for happy hour! Next time, I’ll take a posse in to liven things up. ;)

Great location and the first thing I told my wife is it is very clean. Wide open with a friendly staff and the sickest happy hour menu! Also the thing that sold me was the fact they did not have fresh Kimchee. Im one of those koreans that jas to have ripe kimchee and they nailed it. Large menu that doesnt contain your ordinary variety of korean food.

I walked in to pick up my phone order and there was literally no one there… It should have told me something but I was really craving meat jun so I went ahead and picked up my order. The cashier said $ 15 bucks for my order. Um excuse me??? $ 15 bucks for a plate lunch??? No way!!! But I was really craving meat jun so I went ahead and paid for it…
I get home, open my plate to soggy meat jun and dry watercress and overly salted potato salad . SOPISSED!

This place is spacious, serves booze and has parking! The Kalbi plate was excellent, the BBQ was good, minus the small hair in the rice.(The staff was very attentive when told about the hair, and adjusted the bill and brought us a free app). The happy hour prices are quite reasonable and happy hour is from 5pm to 10 pm. They have very inexpensive karaōke rooms as well with half price rates for happy hour. In summary, not the best Korean food, but pretty good and it seems like a fun place to hang out. Staff was super friendly!

So my workout buddy and I walk in after class, starving. They say they have happy hour stuff going on and I see beef tendon on the happy hour list and a beef tendon soup on the normal menu. I asked if they were the same and the waiter tells me yes, they are just smaller portions. Fine by me! So I place the order… 20 minutes later, the waiter comes back to tell me they are completely different. And asked me if I still wanted the tendon, in the happy hour form or in the soup form. I am BAFFLED. You don’t know your menu, you waited 20 minutes to tell me this? FORGET it. I’ll have a soonduboon(and make it fast!) Thankfully there was the banchan appetizers — kimchee, fish cake, spinach, potato salad in SUPER small portions with free refills. Also my buddy and I shared a fried rice and she got a bbq chicken(that tasted more like teriyaki chicken instead of korean bbq flavored and all the sides were EXACTLY the same as the banchan appetizers!!!) so I didn’t starve. There was lots of Kpop music videos playing around the restaurant. Since a lot of the tables were nestled into closed off sections, we had a doorbell ringer at our table to signal our waiter. How awkward and annoying to hear the doorbell ring every time we needed him. Once we got our food, he came around regularly to refill our waters. Parking at Pucks Alley is free after 7pm on the weekdays, so I would come around then since I’m not sure they validate parking. Paid with credit card(their only validating quality). Got the Unilocal out of there.
