Why we LOVED working with Lydia:
* Lydia was always honest with us and answered all of our questions and believe me there was plenty! She was truly motivated to help us find the perfect home. She provided great tools for us to assist in selecting homes to go and see.
* When we first started, we were all over the place with our requirements, as we started to see houses, she helped us refine and define what we really wanted.
* She often anticipated our desires to see homes. Her experience helped us to find the right house, get a good price, and close quickly.
* Lydia was always available by phone, text or email whenever we needed to speak with her on any issues and would always promptly respond to email /​texts/​calls.
* She did not push us into homes nor did she push us away from homes. Instead she asked us how we felt about the home after each visit and let us come to our own decisions. If we were unsure, we asked her for her personal/​professional opinion and only then would she offer an opinion. If we didn’t like the homes we saw, she would go back and find new ones. That’s one of the important things we liked about Lydia. No pressure. If the home you see isn’t what you want, look at some more.
* It is easy to get emotional and react to various situations during the process, especially when it involves purchasing something so expensive. Lydia helped us to focus on our end goal; to win the bid and then close on the home. She recommended the strategy/​approach we needed to take in dealing with the seller’s agent and often helped keep us grounded.
* Purchasing a home is a business transaction, but some of the other agents that we interviewed before Lydia treat the entire process as purely business (very impersonal and all-​business). Our experience with Lydia while professional was also very personal, we got to learn about Lydia, her family and likewise she got to know us. She made us feel like family. And I would like to think we have a friend for life.
* We loved that she held several traits that were near and dear to us: Honesty, Integrity and Loyalty. We chose Lydia Bishop to be our buyer’s agent and had a great experience. If we are going to sell our house and or buy another, Lydia will be our first and only choice!

If you are looking for a real estate agent who gets the job done then you’ve found the right one. She was so impressive. I’ve bought and sold my home many times before and Lydia was the first Rep who put aside all the pushy salesmanship and simply got it done! She was efficient and personable, and I never felt like I was being lied to or pushed into anything. She was honest and told me what needed to get done to sell my home and then proceeded to help me with getting it done. I would recomend her highly… I wish she hadn’t moved so far away… any residents of Hawaii… you are very lucky!

While searching for the right realtor for my move from Texas to Hawaii, I was looking for someone with a lot of experience and an inviting demeanor. I scrolled through every single one and found that Ms. Bishop met these criteria, and I am very glad I chose her. She had the perfect balance of professionalism and friendliness. Once I decided on a unit, she promptly visited the complex and spoke with an official to acquire photos for me. These photos sealed the deal, and thus the paperwork process went underway. She served as a liaison between myself and the complex; I scanned necessary documents and money order payments/​deposits, sent them to Ms. Bishop, who then sent them to the complex with a narrative specifying the contents to ensure clarity. (email= evidence/​continuity).
Once I arrived on island, Ms. Bishop met with me to preview the unit and go over the leasing agreement. We walked through the apartment and she looked at every nook and cranny, pointing out things to take pictures of and giving general energy saving advice. I could tell she really cared, and felt very much like family. This feeling was sealed in the meeting with the leasing office to go over the documents. She pegged the woman with more questions than me! If something ambiguous was stated, and if I didn’t address it, she would immediately (in a very respectful but stern manner) to achieve clarification. This was very helpful when I was in the middle of reading an agreement while the leasing agent was speaking, and thus unable to listen effectively. I was very grateful to have her there with me; she ensured there were no misunderstandings and that I understood everything before providing my signature. Also, as icing on the already fabulous cake, she gave me a military discount and thanked me for my service!
All in all, it was a very smooth process for me. I sincerely believe I could not have found a better realtor than Ms Lydia Bishop!
