Finding a right doctor can be a challenge, especially in s small community. Ever since I moved to Honolulu I went through at least a few different physicians, yet so far no one is as thorough as Dr Madamba. Though he is young, he is dedicated to his practice and does really care about his patients. I recommend Dr Madamba if you are new to the island and seeking a physician who diligently practice.

Évaluation du lieu : 3 Honolulu, HI
I’ve been on the hunt for a new primary care physician and was recommended to see Dr. Madamba for his integrative approach to medicine. I quickly learned that the Honolulu healthcare world is way different than what I was used to in California. Most doctors do not have websites here(which makes it hard to lookup their education, experience, and reviews), those that do have websites do not have online scheduling, and it seems all the«good» doctors are not taking new patients. Apparently Dr. Madamba is one of a handful of MDs on Oahu with an integrative/holistic medicine approach. He himself is great. He seemed very attentive, asked tons of questions about my medical history, and took copious notes on his lap top. The first appointment lasted 90 minutes, but I didnt mind since he seemed so thorough. Unfortunately his staff is a bit rude and also seems to have no concern for patient privacy, asking some personal questions very loudly within earshot of other patients and with the exam room doors open. His medical staff set up an examination and needless so say, it was very uncomfortable. They had me change in the bathroom and I felt uncomfortable in there… the floors are dirty(I did not feel right being barefoot in there) and the whole office looks like it could use a good scrubbing. They also had a snafu with my forms and made me fill them out twice to make it easier for them to read. Apparently the first set of forms printed out funny so the line breaks were off. All of the information was there, but not in the format they wanted. I would not have minded filling it out again if the staff was not so rude about it. He had me come into the office for a second visit to review my lab results. I’m not sure if that is normal here, but in California all results were either emailed to me or given over the phone. If the staff improved communication with patients and the office got a deep cleaning, I would go back. It is a shame because Dr. Madamba seems to be a caring doctor with good potential.
