Super disappointed. Looking for a pedi before dinner and there weren’t many choices for pm nail aps. My friend and I ended here. 1st the massage chair was broken and we moved but then my chair wasn’t doing a great job either. I chose the classic– one above the lowest. Supposedly there was supposed to be a little massage but really it was rub the lotion on and done. So sad bcs I used to like this place. Frankly no longer impressed. Now off to find a place for after kids bed time salon. Anyone have suggestions?

The location of this place was the only thing that had drawn us in. It was an impromptu girls shopping day and we wanted to end it with a pedicure. My friend had Tommy and he did excellent. Best leg massage that she has had on the island. I ended up with some girl who didn’t talk much. I’m not even sure she said anything when I complimented her hair. We did get our eyebrows waxed by Julia who was such a sweetheart. This place is super cute. If my pedicure didn’t suck(not painted well, paint chipped 3 days later, and almost no massage) then I would of gave this place a 4.

Okay on nail job but the workers«cash out» before they’re finished and then they insist on 20%?!? Did they forget that tipping is based on customer service satisfaction?

It’s rather hit an miss at the Mani Pedi spa. If I could split my review down the middle to 2−½ stars, that would be how I rank this place. Here are the pros: 1) The location — near the center of 2nd level on the mauka side of Ala Moana Center. 2) They take walk ins all the time so it’s easy to squeeze in a mani pedi in the middle of a shopping excursion. 3) They have a great selection of nail colors and nail accoutrements. 4) They have decent massage chairs — and seem to update them regularly. 5) They have a good selection of services — from express mani pedis to a range of spa services. Cons: 1) You don’t know if you’ll get a great or mediocre job — I don’t go here regularly to know who’s good or not 2) When it’s crowded, you feel like you’re on a conveyor belt of mani-pedis. 3) If you get a really mediocre mani pedi — you really feel like you paid too much here. Needless to say, sometimes the location wins me over when I’m trying to maximize my personal excursions.

The location is convenient, the salon atmosphere itself is very nice, and they were able to see me immediately as a drop-in, but my pedicure wasn’t done very well. The lacquer application was chunky and my toe started bleeding from cuticle cutting.
