this mcdonalds is low priority on my list of place to dine. but the service is excellent. they really make you high priority. its really awesome being famous. good job mcdonalds. keep up the good work! *2 thumbs up

Jayce who took my order from the drive thru was an awesome worker. His personality is amazing. He reads back your order right away with an exciting tone to his voice. It just seems like he really loves his job!!! He’s the type of person, I would want to hire if I had my own business!!! I wish I took a picture of him.
If you’re having a bad day, go thru the drive thru when Jayce is working and I’ll bet you that he will brighten your day with his personality!!!
McDonald’s on Keaumoku is lucky to have a worker like Jayce!!!

Updated review: I do have a complaint, but it’s not about their staff, it’s about their customers. I’ve never had problems in their crowded drive thru till now.
A couple thought I cut them off in the drive thru line and the guy honked at me and the girl flipped me the bird. (How classy of her right?) I proceeded to the window and told the worker that the car behind me honked at me (but left out the part about the girl’s hand gesture) and the worker apologized.
As I drove to the next window I saw him talk to the couple behind me, so I’m glad he spoke up.

Went through drive through and I sat there for a couple minutes until I said «Hello». Then tried to order Sirloin Burger they didn’t have it anymore, then tried to order the Local Deluxe meal which they had it in the menu, but they didn’t have it either. Grrrr… All Day Breakfast is not all day for all BREAKFAST items. It is mostly the mainland menu items and nothing local here yet. Hopefully soon they will cater to Hawaii;)

I’m surprised that this location has 2.5 stars…
I usually only do drive-​thru here, is that why?
I like the 2 drive-​thru lines to place your order. The service is pretty good and my food is usually really accurate (as far as me getting what I ordered). The last two times I went through the drive-​thru, I had to wait like 3 – 5 minutes for my food because the fries were FRESH. I don’t mind waiting. The workers let me know, so it’s all good.

How do you write a review for McDonalds? Well one thing that stood out about this McDonalds is that their Coke is always yummy, the mix is perfect. If you’re a Coke drinker you know what I mean. This McDonalds is ALWAYS busy but they usually get you in and out of there pretty fast if you dine inside, the drive through is another story. Because they are always busy their food is fresh and hot! Nine times out of Ten the French fries at this location taste like they just came out of the deep fryer! If you’re in a hurry don’t bother with the drive thru during peak hours, you’ll be there a while. I want a Coke & fries now!

The manager refused to let me (a paying customer) use the restroom after midnight, and wouldn’t even give me a reason. Then she just proceeded to ignore me. The restroom door said please ask for assistance between midnight and 4. I can’t believe how rude the manager was!

Update 12÷11÷15 drive thru from 1200 – 1237 am. AM. Right after midnight.
In no way is it ever acceptable to pull what these pathetic group of people attempting to run a fast food restaurant JUST did.

As soon as I pull up, only one of the two drive thru lanes is open. I get that it’s late. I got off work and have been running errands and pulling Christmas missions and really am upset beyond reasoning.
What is going on with restaurants in Honolulu?
I sat stuck between cars for 15 minutes before I get to the order box. I wait 7 mins before my order gets taken. Then told cash only. Whatever, again, it’s late, maybe that’s a thing now. Another 10 mins and I make it to the first money taking window. Which is shut. But the employees are standing in front of the glass, twiddling their thumbs. No one says anything. No one even acknowledges me, makes eye contact, or fills me in on what’s going on.
Instead I sit patiently for 20 mins, ignored, until I get honked at by the also misinformed, mistreated McDonald’s customers. So I honk to get the FEMALE managers attention, who quickly pretends to be on the phone and turns her back to me. NO LADY. I know the glass is not sound proof. RUDE RUDE RUDE RUDE.
I pull up to the second window which is open. THREE EMPLOYEES– blue shirt Filipino mid 40s tight bunned MANAGER #1, red shirt, probably just graduated regular fast food worker #2, and the worst of them all, late 20s early 30s spikey haired Philipino red shirt manager #3– who’s in ear shot, blatantly ignoring my existence.
The first two woman at least look nervous that Their failing at life.
But that make manager, smug.
Give a damn heads up your machine is broken, give a heads up you can’t help me, give a heads up that you don’t know what your doing and let me leave on good terms, not like this
I fully intend to file a complaint.
Because they all deserve to loose their jobs.
Is it really ironic none of them were wearing their name tags?
I gotta be up at 6 am TODAY for work. All I wanted was some fast food.
Instead of pointing me in the right direction, or pointing me away even, u wasted an hour of my time, including my writing this review (updated from a 4 star), and researching and saving McDonald’s corporate complaint number
You could’ve avoided all of this.

I’m gonna give credit where credit is due!
No this is not the best Micky d’s around, they are pretty slow, and don’t always keep up to par with fellow franchises, in reference to promos and food items… I rarely go to this location really…
But again, I have to give credit to the lone drive thru kid who’s work ethic is just amazing. You might recognize him, I always do over the intercom. He counter responds to every comment you make with some sort of extra friendly demeanor. For example
Him: «hi welcome to McDonald’s! Would you like to try one of our amazing combo meals?»
Me: «umm sure, can I have a number 10?»
Him:“a #10? You have great taste! Sounds great!“
Me: «can I get a chocolate shake?»
Him: «You sure can! Mmm good choice!»
Everything I said he answered with seemIngly exaggerated happiness. I crack up every time I get him. I thought it was a joke, no way can someone be this happy and friendly at a drive thruu, but time and time again he’s still at it. And I’m pretty sure he’s being genuine.
How sad though! I couldn’t take him seriously because not that many folk put all that effort into just being nice. he really is just being great at his job and über polite and nice. I’ll get his name and shout him out properly next round.
You’ll know if you come across him. He’s a needle in a hay stack!

Just came here tonight and I’ve never felt so good about eating fast food. just as I was condemning myself for eating unhealthy my boyfriend and I roll up to McDonald’s and we have Josh taking our order. He was inviting and gave us time to order and asked us specifically what our favorite drink and sauce was and when we got up to the window he made us excited when he said «and at the next window is the good stuff» all while smiling and being so welcoming. It was like being at Disneyland but better. We don’t even know you but Thank you Josh for this positive experience!

I haven’t seen any cockroaches lately. No weird chemical residues either.
The hot water seems untampered with. I don’t mind blowing my nose in the napkins.
Pissing in the alley between midnight and 4 a.m. is fun.

I give this McDonald’s 4 stars solely because of Jayce… I love people who are naturally happy and always in a good mood. He makes my day better and I wish my attitude was close to his :) I visit this location daily for my coffee n other drinks etc, even though this location may be on the slower side I like seeing Jayce.
He deserves a raise!

Why is it that almost every McDonald’s you go to has such BAD service? I know it’s fast food but still, it’s not rocket science to put together a meal lol.
When I ordered the girl kept repeating my order WRONG, Yes I speak English, and I was saying it loud and clear. Took her about 5 min to fully understand my simple order. When I got my food, which I had included 2 large fries, they filled them about half way, like a medium, not to mention I asked for it to go, and they put it on a tray instead! I instantly handed it back and told them that it’s a large fries why is it not filled up all the way and that I had asked for it to go! The lady there was the manager she them took the bag and said okay, I had to wait 3 min for new fries. Anyway moral of the story is, no be shame to ask what you pay for, my money is good and that’s even if I’m at McDonald’s, If I’m paying for a large I WANT a large lol.

I RARELY give reviews. However, this McDonald’s deserves one. This is the worst McDonald’s restaurant I’ve ever been to. I wish there were zero star ratings. I waited at the register for at least five minutes while the trainee tried to figure out got to take my order. She called for help a couple of times with a manager not even 15 feet away, but was ignored. Obviously my order was messed up, despite the fact that it was after midnight and there were only a handful of people in the restaurant. I’ll never eat at this McDonald’s again.

I’m from the mainland, so the ‘local breakfasts’ are fun! I had egg whites & rice for breakfast! Healthy & filling! Kept me full until lunch!

I don’t expect good service when I go to mcdonalds but I don’t expect to be treated like an animal. I ordered something new and didn’t know there was more than 1 type of the item. Kelly looked at me as if I was stupid saying I don’t know what kind you want. Ok… give me some options then.
When the receipt was put on the counter I took it then she grabbed it out of my hand saying I had the wrong receipt.

Convenient, fast, and mostly accurate and near work. On my 35^th check in here today (⁷⁄₂₂) I still appreciate it’s existence. When I want something super basic and not big of a portion and when I feel like being cheap, this is my go to place.
My main go to is their Fruit ‘n Yogurt Parfait (150 calories). Based on the ingredients of low fat yogurt, strawberries, blueberries and low fat crunchy granola. This is only good for the light eaters as it’s only 5.2oz. What’s disappointing is since they’re prepacked, sometimes they’re given on the frozen side at the time of order. My guilty pleasure would be their hash browns (147 calories) if I feel the parfait by itself is not going to cut it. They also have a pretty nice selection of cold coffees (Mocha Frappé), smoothies and lemonade at an affordable price. It’s perfect for the price conscience and convenience.
The location can use a lot of improvement as far as outdoor cleanliness. But they have a private lot of their own. You wouldn’t need to worry about parking on the street. Customer service is good as well at least in the mornings and sometimes in the afternoon depending on which squad of the day you get.

I’m a well seasoned mom of three kiddies so there’s no going into McDonald’s, I’ll leave that to the amateurs. When you’re a walking octopus lady who works, chauffeurs, raises humans and cooks dinner all while applying your mascara, it’s all about the drive-​thru!!! If I had a magic lamp I’d make my ENTIRE LIFE drive-​thru…
Grocery shopping for bulk and farm fresh organic items: Drive-​thru!
Dry-​cleaning at cheap prices but with zero underarm stains: Drive-​thru!
Gourmet 12-​course dinner date that doesn’t make you fat: Drive-​thru!
Glamorous haircut complete with gay hairstylist who tells me how pretty you are: Drive-​thru!
Hot yoga workout where you don’t sweat, but you still burn 2,000 calories: Drive-​thru!
Think of the years we’d get back! Think about how beautiful we’d be! But for now, because I have not yet found my magic lamp complete with wish granting genie we shall have to settle for McDonald’s drive-​thru where we get excellent service from two efficient ordering lanes…
One vanilla ice cream cone and two M&M McFlurries that instantly make me the «World’s Best Mom» and hero for an afternoon: Drive-​Thru!!!

I always use the drive-​thru here & stop by pretty often on my way to work. My orders are always the same, are always correct & on point. The only thing I hate is the double drive-​thru lanes. This location can get pretty hectic in the mornings & having two lanes giving orders at the same time & then merging back into one lane is just bad common sense to me. How the heck is this helping to speed anything up? A week or two ago I was here & they had the secondary lane closed. It sped things up DRASTICALLY. & I mean there was NO wait time. By the time I got my card back from the cashier, the ONE car that was in front of me had already grabbed their food at the next window & was long gone.

How many customers out there goes to this McDonald very often? I used to but got really tired of all the homeless going in there for their free drinks. I emailed their main office and they had their manager call me up but I could tell from her voice and what she had to say, she’s not going to do one thing about it. She tells me they have a guard at nights and they are looking for another one, how long does it take to get a guard? Is Mcdonalds too cheap to give their customers a decent and clean place to eat?
At one time they had a guard during the day and I was pleased to see they finally hired one and when the homeless seen this guard they didn’t go after any drinks. I know people are having a hard time, don’t get me wrong but they know what their doing and that’s stealing. They don’t even use McDonalds cups? Some bring in big thermoses? Who knows what they been using their hands for and now you are touching the same things as they did.
If you are a concerned citizen, then you should put in a complaint to their mainland office like I did. I used to go there with my son but all he see’s are people stealing and getting away with it, that’s not good for a child to see or learn, I don’t want him to think about stealing. Their hands are dirty and they even have poop on their pants and they are touching the soda machines that you are touching also. They take tea, soda, lids, straws and whatever they can. I know at times, this can’t be sanitary at all. They touch the lids and the handles, Think about It! All the middle school kids that go over there after school, could be your child touching the dirty handles and lids that they touched also, again think about it as I did with my son.
I was going there 2 to 3 times a week for over a year and I do sit near the soda machines just to see if McDonalds really do care for their customers and cleanliness and they don’t. I see the manager look at them but she turns her head and goes on with other things when she does have the time as I see it to ask them to leave but she don’t?
This Mcdonald’s is getting so popular with the homeless that the ones from the Beretania McDonalds are going over there because they don’t watch them over there at the Keeaumoku branch. The bathrooms are really dirty also. I go in there during the afternoon and I guess the homeless gets in there when a regular customer goes out and the floors are just too dirty (urine)to walk on at times. Again Bad Management.
This McDonalds also has a lot of tourist that comes in due to it’s location and what do they see?
People talk and people talk to me about this problem at this particular McDonalds because it’s that bad. They tell me, Burger King confronts the homeless if they don’t buy anything so that’s why you don’t see homeless people going into the Burger Kings taking drinks. Burger King puts a stop to it right away and the public does take notice.
So all I have to say it look at your hands and think what kind of person might had touched that leaver, straws or cup lid or anything in that area? Where his or her hands been touching before they came into this McDonalds? I seen it for over 2 year at this McDonalds and it seems the manager don’t care about the health issues, so I just eat somewhere else now since they don’t seem to care.
You have to spend some time there and watch and then you will see. I had to wait there many times for my son’s doctor visits close by so we sit there and have a snack and this is why I know what’s been going on over there for all these years and it’s just getting worse. Where has your hands been? Save your money and eat somewhere that is clean and where the manager really cares for your business. Kaneohe McDonalds don’t have the homeless and they even have the ketchup machine out for you to get your own and the Waiakamilo branch does also, so why not Keeaumoku?

Home for the homeless. they bring cups back in for free drinks. take over outdoor seating… steal napkins. sleep in the doorway and the management does not clean up the store. I will never go there ever and will write negative reviews to corporate in Chicago.
Update. 3 people stabbed in last 2 weeks. behind this McDonalds. across the street and down the block.
