Nose bled on a saturday at the beach. By Sunday, it was so bad that I had to go ER. Blood tests were good, so nothing terribly serious. The ER suggested I see Dr. S. James Lee but we wanted to go sooner so we settled with Dr. Murakami. Dr. Murakami was a different type of Dr. He had an aggressive edge to him. He had jokes about me picking my nose. I was like, «whatever». So he looks inside the edges and sees nothing. Dr then tells me to use affrin, not to blow it, no blood thinners. etc. and to see him if things get worse. 2nd examination he was more concerned. He opened my nostril and shoved a fibre optic device in my nose with no sort of pain killer. Joked with him and told him that is a wonderful torture device. Dr. Murukami told me it was a posterior(rear) arterial nose bleed. He told me to see the E.R. if it didn’t get better since it was the weekend. Things got worse so I went to the ER. The doctor put in a rhino rocket balloon in my nose to my surprise with no pain. Sadly it failed and had to get it removed. I was bleeding maybe 45min at a time every other hour almost clockwork. So I went back to Dr. Murakami by myself since my family came down with a flu or something. I told Dr. how the ER put the balloon in my nose with no pain. So he «had a look» again. He told me it’s way in there. After looking through his assortment of packing things he decided on one and told me this will be painful. He shoved a packing thing in my nose with no pain killer and it didn’t fit! He pulled it out and turned it in sideways and shoved it in again still wouldn’t fit! So he shoved another skinnier one. Tremendous PAIN! Went home and it STILL bled.
SO, I finally decided to see the Dr. I was prescribed by the ER. Dr. S. James Lee. The Dr. sprayed some pain killer in my nose! In minutes found I an ANTERIOR(near the front) blood vessel bleed. He cauterized it in 45 secs. 13 days of bleeding! Wish I could bill Dr. Murakami for my other visits! Terrible. Most terrible. Wasted money and time.

My regular physician had referred him due to my symptoms of dizziness. When I went to see him the first time, he did not greet me. He walked me to one of the patient rooms and privately talked to me one-on-one. He me asked all these questions and I answered them as best I could. He sent me to go get a hearing test and that was normal. My hearing was excellent. I went back for a follow-up and I told him my symptoms were getting much worse, especially when I was driving. Again, he asked me more questions and suggested I get an ENG test(dizzy test). I told him, over and over again, my symptoms are not getting better. Its like he was not listening to me at all.
