Seriously, there is no one who should be doing your nails in Honolulu except Carrie. She is awesome.

I highly recommend Nails by Carrie. Carrie is a professional who takes pride in her work and will take very good care of you. Carrie’s priorities are proper sanitation and hygiene, welcoming, friendly service and environment, wonderful pampering(including a terrific hand and/or foot massage) with excellent and gentle nail-care technique. Her specialty is natural nails though she does gel nails as well. Carrie is very experienced in layering polish for customized colors. I have received many compliments on how beautiful my nails are thanks to Carrie’s work. A very good value for the discerning customer who wants and deserves more than those«fast-food» nail places. I have been a very happy customer for over 12 years. I now live on the mainland and when I come home, I always have an appointment with Carrie. She makes me look pretty and feel great. Thank you Carrie! Alison Z. executive coach

Brought the gurl here for the NYE mani/pedi combo. Super nice staff and very clean facility. Needless to say I sat there for two hours and wasn’t irritated like I thought I would be. Instead, talked story with staff and two other customers. I always like the end result, but I tend to avoid the wait at all costs. Overall great place great people. It is pricey but quality products, so worth it. By the way they don’t do acrylics here. At the time I posted this review her nails still look like they were just done, nuf said!

I’ve gone to Stacie for pedi’s since she had a station in Hanalei’s salon(a long, long time ago). I love how everything is so clean… The disposable liners for the foot soak, her tools, and most importantly, the floor! There is no one better to go to.

I’ve been going to Carrie for longer than the existence her current location when she had a tiny corner of a room at Hanalei Salon & Boutique so I may be a bit biased but she is THE best! First off, sanitation is a priority with her. I receive pedicures here regularly and she always uses plastic disposable liners so you know that no one else’s stinky gross feet has been in the same bin as yours. It’s the jet baths that attract all the bacteria to cause you nail fungus so being the antibacterial gel toting woman that I am, having my own clean liner each time I go is a HUGE plus. Secondly, Carrie is such a perfectionist that she is great at mixing two, sometimes three, nail colors to make a new blend of color and that you wouldn’t be able to tell that it was a mixed color. I tried asking a Vietnamese nail salon to do that once(I’ve now boycotted all Vietnamese nail salons after 6 more times of bad experiences at each salon but that’s another story!) and I could literally see the polish color underneath the top color. Thumbs down to them! Carrie has a way of making your hands and feet really pretty and the polish lasts a long time. I go for my pedicure every 5 to 6 weeks and I could probably go longer if my nail beds weren’t showing. When I get a manicure, it usually lasts for a little under two weeks, if I get one for a trip. If I get one for a wedding and I’m home doing typical chores, it’ll probably last about a week. A manicure is $ 30 and a pedicure is $ 55. It’ll take about an hour each for each treatment but it’s well worth the price for the amount of time the polish will last you, especially pedicures. I believe she only does natural nails, no acrylics, but I’m not 100% positive so try and give her a call to ask. Check her out and tell her Steph sent you. She’ll be happy!

I’ve been going to Stacie for almost ten years. I never have to worry about getting an infection because all tools are disinfected before using. I especially like the use of disposable liners when getting a pedicure. I do a lot of travelling and Stacie would add a coat of a particular polish to extend the life of the manicure(which typically lasts one or two weeks). I go for a pedicure every four weeks mainly to change the nail color but could probably stretch that to five or six weeks. It lasts that long! No acrylics are done at this salon so you don’t have to worry about the smell. In fact, Stacie uses an air purifier.

Carrie was awesome! i tried to make an appointment and said she takes up until 1pm, but said that i could only come in at 3:15 and she said no problem! i ended up booking for my sister as well and we both couldn’t be happier! very precise and takes her time. she uses disposable liners for everyone, so clean! a little on the pricey side, but well worth it. the ONLY thing is i wish she didn’t cut my toenails as short as she did. her massages are the best and the exfoliting also just as good! thumbs up! i would definitely do my nails there again for a special occasion.

Carrie is wonderful! She is the absolute best nail artist that I have ever been to. Carrie works in a boutique nail salon in the Ken Rock building and shares a space with 2 other nail artists. The salon is comfortable, very clean, and the clients and staff are friendly. Carrie uses disposable liners for your pedicure, so you don’t ever have to worry about germs — that is one of my favorite things about this place. She does a wonderful leg and arm massage as well as a scrub for pedicures. The selection of colors is huge and she is willing to combine colors to make the perfect shade. The polish lasts about 5 weeks so you really get your money’s worth. I highly recommend her!
