NC Seafood

Don’t be fooled by the plain looking store front and the columns of storage freezers for if you take time to look around the store and to look inside each freezer you will find a wonderful wide assortments of frozen seafood. So many types of fish (I lost count) from Thailand, Vietnam, Korea, Japan, etc. many of which I’ve never known existed until I come here. You can find frozen squid, octopus, mussels, shrimps, scallops, crabs, and even water bugs!!! Most of the ingredients for Shabu Shabu can be found here except fresh produce and fresh meat. They also carry a big selection of groceries for preparing Asian food.
The store is clean, well stocked, and well organized. No fishy smell in the store and employees are pleasant. The prices here are comparable to other merchants’ in Chinatown and lower than supermarket prices.
