Just started fly fishing and made the inaugural stop at Nervous Waters to «gear up.» They were amazing. Amazing customer service. Outstanding shop, stocked with everything you need. I’ll be back again and again as a result.

I was looking to get a bone fishing set up. Sean completely set me up. Prices were as good as any other fishing store. It was really nice to find a local fly shop. If you’re on Oahu you’d be a fool to go anywhere else for fly fishing needs.

Booked a guided trip through the shop for when we were over on vacation. Fished with Guide Ed Tamai for bonefish and boated and released 2 fish. Awesome fishing with a great guide, thanks NW and Ed T. I will be back! Jordan

All your fly-fishing needs in the heart of Kaimuki. Actually, the only fly-fishing shop on Oahu. It’s a small little shop on the right hand side of Hung Won. The store has a pretty good selection of fly-fishing equipment and a wall full of pictures with locals holding up their huge bonefish. The staff was very helpful in explaining the different rods and the difference in traditional fishing to me. They also have fly-fishing guides for hire if you like to learn this art. I dropped by on Veteran’s day which was a Monday in 2012 and Clay, the owner was there manning the shop. He’s only there on Monday. My God, he was incredibly helpful. He even helped us retied a line to work in the salt waters of Honolulu, then proceeded to give us pointers on where to fish at and where not to. BTW: Caught my first papio fly fishing at Waialae Beach Park that same afternoon. Thank you Clay for your advice!
