Please exercise caution in choosing Jason as your hypnotherapist. He charges a lot more than other therapists and my experience with him did not equal the value for what I paid him. I don’t feel his prices reflect his training or experience with hypnosis. Ask questions and do your research before giving him any money and don’t be intimidated by him! I wanted help with my extreme sensitivity and getting emotional during arguments. He told me it would take 3 – 5 sessions and would cost me $ 750. I wish I would have done a consultation before coming in because his office was actually his studio apartment and very small and hot. He has since moved to another apartment but still, for me it was not a professional office like environment. I was not impressed. I’m not sure that his technique worked on me. I have only had once incident where I had conflict with someone since getting hypnotized and I did end up crying. The therapy was nice and comforting but in 3 sessions he hardly talked about the crying and instead it was all about my mother. I just don’t feel like it was effective for what I was looking for and not worth $ 750. I can’t believe I paid that much for about 5 hours of treatment. I told him I wasn’t sure the hypnotherapy worked and so he offered to help me with something else: information retention. I had two sessions. One where he played Lady Gaga and told me to speed up and slow down the music with my mind and the other where he had me go back to my childhood(age regression) and talk to myself as a preschooler. Both were weird and uncomfortable and neither helped me with my memory. I decided to let it go after that and chalk it up as a lesson learned. After having a less than favorable experience here I decided to call the Banyon Hypnosis Center where Jason says he learned the method he uses called 5 Path. They told me that he was not trained there and that he only bought their DVDS. Also, Jason is very proud of his Unilocal reviews. When I looked closely I noticed that he had 4 «non-recommended» reviews. I’ve never noticed this before. Unilocal explains that«non-recommended» reviews are set aside and do not affect the businesses rating. One thing that can cause reviews to be flagged like this is if they seem like they are false reviews coming from the business owner themselves, i.e. same IP address, only one review from the reviewer, etc. If you have trouble finding them they may get removed after this post. When looking at his other reviews and the reviews on this website, they do seem fishy to me. It’s strange to me that no one mentions his office being a hot studio apartment where he lives and/or his very high prices. They are all just glowing 5 star reviews. I do believe Jason is a passionate hypnotherapist and tries to do good work but I just encourage everyone to do their research and shop around. He comes off as very confident and is a good salesmen, but he hasn’t been doing this for very long. I think he said he is only 26 and has been doing this for 3 years. I could be wrong but that is what I remember. He does know his stuff, but I doubt he is the best hypnotherapist on the island. This is all just my opinion based on my experience. Hope this helps someone make a better decision. Mahalo.

Jason did a wonderful job addressing what I came to see him for. He was kind, caring, funny(when need be), supportive, dedicated, & relentless in ensuring that I got the results I wanted. Some of the work was challenging, but Jason caringly and expertly guided me through the process. I can see now why the process he uses was essential for me to get the results I wanted and I’m very grateful I gave this gift to myself. I know it is a gift that will keep on giving and for that I’m very grateful. Thank you New Life Hypnosis!
