I want to say a big Mahalo to Casper!!! He went above and beyond to help me this morning. It was a frustrating morning & he basically saved my day! Again, much Mahalo to Casper! Hope your manager sees this. Casper was a great help!!! I wouldn’t be home if it wasn’t for Casper.

Horrible dealing with them. Slow lines, no one in the isles, at all. So have to wait on line 20 minutes to ask a question. The wosrt day ever was, when the 2 times checked my battery saying its fine, when it actually had cell. This place is the worst. They put my battery on the charger for 10 minutes, gave me attitude. Caused me to remove my newly installed alternator & get a replacement, only to find out my battery WAS BAD! That cockeyed manager said the only way to prove a battery is bad is to saw it in half! That if my mechanic didnt do thst, he’s wrong. I wanted to throw a bucket of puke on her!

My brake lights stayed on all day which drained my car battery. I had to call for roadside assistance. They sent John from Pop A Lock Honolulu. He charged up my car battery and recommended that I go to O’Reilly Auto Parts. He said they are so helpful and they could help me with my situation. First of all, I had to keep my car running so I told the clerk if he could call me when it was my turn. He did that! He sent Koa outside to help me. Koa figured out what was keeping the brake lights on. It was a simple $ 2.50 plug. He spent time helping me find the piece that would at least temporarily hold it. He told me it was the brake light bushing. He said don’t let the dealership charge me for something else. Anyway I called the dealership where I would have to wait a couple of hours and they quoted me $ 200. I took my car to Hokama’s in Pearl City which is a business on my mail route. He said the same as Koa. He had the piece that fit my car and charged me $ 23.50 which included labor! So awesome!
Thanks to you, Koa, you saved me a lot of money and time! You saved another «Starfish»! (Refer to the Starfish Story promoted PSI Seminars.)

I come here all the time but recently I had to come 3 times in two days. I was so happy to be helped by Casper! He was so helpful there were a few items that they didn’t have do he called Midas to speak with my auto technician and co ordinated with him and new city Nissan to help me out swiftly tracking down all the parts I needed! It feels so great to have people actually go above and beyond to be kind and helpful! Thanks so much!

Came to get my battery tested after not starting a couple times this week. Ryan helped me out. Tested the battery and alternator and found at my battery was low and in the last quarter of its life. Had to remove battery to attempt to charge it up but found out the battery was bad. Purchased a new battery and installed I the parking lot with assistance from Ryan (management… He was great!) Thanks to everyone who helped me out today!

Got helped from this tiny sassy girl with long hair. She gave me an attitude when I was asking about touch up paint. She was like, no I don’t do that I’ll just paint the whole car cause I know how to do that. Never going back there again

They employees are VERY helpful and knowledgable. I have no idea what I’m doing when I come in, the associates give offer advice and will even come out to my car to help out. I always come here for my car needs.

For about 15 minutes I tried without success to do some of the most simple little repairs on my LR two. One of the employees Bryan came out and finished everything in less than five minutes and wouldn’t take a tip! This goes way past aloha and exemplary into sainthood!

I always have a great experience coming to this O’Reilly location. They always have the auto supplies that I need and the customer service is great. I always ask for Brian to help me out because he knows exactly what I am talking about when I explain what is wrong with my car. Brian fixed the air conditioner in my car as well!

I don’t remember replacing my headlights so often for any other car I’ve had! 4^th bulb now in the past 3 years for my Honda Civic. The price was a little high for the bulb, I think Napa was cheaper but O’reilly is near my home. The five stars are for great service!
I just walked in and a worker asked if I needed help, told him what I needed, he got my part and then asked if I wanted it installed. «Yes, please!» They installed the last passenger side and that side is still going strong! It took him a little bit longer since the drivers side has more things in the way but he didn’t give up, lol.
I went back in the store to get change since I only had a twenty. They were again very attentive as soon as I walked in. Got my change, and he was done by the time I got back. I so appreciate that I didn’t have to take it to a shop or try to figure it out myself and get dirty :)

As luck would have had it, my car’s battery died on me after work. I frantically called every auto shop I could think of, but most places were about to close for the day and wouldn’t take me in.
Fortunately, I found out O’Reilly was open until 10:00pm. When I called to see if they had my part in stock, they also told me they could install it, if I got in before 6:00pm. I got my car jumped and headed over within a few minutes. The employee that helped me was friendly and got the battery installed within 15 minutes (way quicker than if I were to take it to a shop). Thanks O’Reilly!

O’Reilly Auto Parts is one of my favorite automotive parts stores! I like to come here for tools, as well as automotive items. Most times when I need something that I cannot find at Walmart’s automotive section, rest-​a-​sure O’Reilly Auto Parts will definitely have it!
Yesterday I took my rod into the McCully Union Service for a safety check, and upon getting my rod checked, the mechanic tells me that my battery tie down was missing, and that he was not going to pass my car.
Well, here I am at O’Reilly’s and guess what I was buying??? Yup a battery tie down device to install onto my battery on my rod. Lucky for me, I got this device for just $ 5 bucks! What a deal I tell you, and the clerk at O’Reilly’s was very helpful in showing me where the item was in the store.
When O’Reilly’s has a sale on a particular item, I must say their prices are very competitive!
I sometimes wander into this store to look at automotive stuff, & to find good deals! Get on their email list so you can get emails on their sale items!

I came for car wash supplies, and found that section lacking. To be fair, most places on Oahu are pretty short on car wash supplies. There were also some shady characters in the parking lot, but again, pretty typicaly for an auto parts store parking lot.

I can always find what I need here. The store is always well stocked and organized. Conveniently located at Punahou and Young streets. Easy access and lots of parking. The workers are also friendly and know their stuff and make good recommendations.

Came here looking for WeatherTech deflectors but they didn’t have any in stock so this review is mainly on the service they provided. I asked for a price quote but they mentioned that I need to place an order before they can provide me with a solid number. I asked for a «guestimation», they mentioned the policy again. So now I asked how long delivery would take, they mentioned it takes months without looking up anything on their database. So it was clear that customer service was just disappointing that day. Better luck some where else fellas.

Last week I got ready for work, went down to my car and it wouldn’t start. What a stressful way to start the day. Luckily my co-​worker came to pick me up for work and a friend drove me home. The next day, AAA recommended that I drive to O’Reilly Auto Parts to charge my battery. Unfortunately my battery was bad and couldn’t be charged. Casper was really helpful. He came out to test my battery and even took it out so he could print out the «bad battery» report. I waited in the air conditioning until AAA came to replace the battery (it was still under its warranty). While waiting, I purchased new windshield wipers and again, Casper was awesome and showed me how to install them.
The next time I need anything for my car, I’ll definitely try to stop here. Helpful and knowledgeable staff and they had what I needed. Thank you, O’Reilly Auto Parts!

I tried to enter on Punahou Street but someone was blocking the driveway so I had to drive around the block and re-​enter on Young Street. Young Street is probably the better side to enter on since there is less traffic.
This store looks small but when you go in, they have a lot of little parts for your car. The staff in the store greeted me as I walked into the tire aisle and asked if I needed help. Right away she pointed me to those tire valve caps. I grabbed a pack or the black colored caps and proceeded to pay. The same staff assisted me at checkout and I was telling her «I have no idea why someone would steal these, they are so cheap. I should probably buy pink ones next time to prevent people from taking it.» She agreed and she laughed. I was in and out of the store in less than 5 minutes. I love places that are efficient like that.

This is my go-​to place for things that I know how to fix with my car. I have come here for batteries, a brake pad cover, and lights! That’s about the extent of my knowledge with car stuff.
Prices and employees have always been good. They have a good sized parking lot so it’s always easy to find parking.
This is my go-​to place because it’s the closest auto parts store to my house. I stop by whenever a light burns out or I need a new battery.

I’ve never seen so many employees in an auto store before. It’s nice to have someone to help you and not have to wait for one of the two employees that I usually encounter at auto stores.
The employees seemed nice enough and we were greeted when we came in the door.
Plenty of parking, which is nice and it was easy to find.

Ok, when it comes to car care and or knowledge I’ll admit; I’m dumb as nails. That being said, when I noticed my car was BARELY starting up (about 3x a week); I had a feeling it was my battery and I knew I was in trouble. I first went to Jiffy Lube and they pretty much said to come here. I got helped by (Ed?) and told him my situation. He came out to my car to test the power of my battery and as suspected, it was bad… very bad and corroded :\ I probably wouldn’t last 5 miles.
Anyhow, I bought with the battery he recommended (which was also the one Jiffy Lube told me to get). When he brought it out to my car he asked if I had someone to change it out for me. DOH! I guess I thought the installation came with the purchase. Haha I looked at him and said «uh…is it hard to do?» he felt bad and kindly changed it out for me. In 5 minutes my car started fine and I was on my way. I was really please with the customer service I got from here and if by any chance I need help with car parts; I’ll definitely be back.
