I have been coming to this shop for decades! YES decades! I feel so bad that they will be closing at some point. They have always done my uniforms right and I have NEVER had to take it back. I hope they find some way of staying open or doing something to be around for us faithfuls! I hope whoever gave the contract to the other place realizes the huge mistake they made with all the complaints from the guys and gals in uniform!

It’s sad to hear that this place is closing down because these guys been doing this forever. They are experts at uniforms… But when the C&C decides to contract mainland companies… Local businesses just cannot compete. I would rather pay a little more for better quality. Our new uniform place is cheap and it shows.
Our new uniform guys suck big time! I’ve had to bring ALL my uniforms to Pacific Woolen to have them altered and fitted to me. Pacific Woolen is really good at fitting and alterations. In fact, about 90% of my classmates brought their uniforms to Pacific Woolen and paid out of their own pockets, just to have them fix what the other guys couldn’t.
I really hope they can open up a small shop somewhere because they are really good at what they do. I’d hate to lose this local business.

I’ve been coming to Pac Woolen for over 26 years now… so sad to hear that they’re going to close down. They are the absolute BEST place for uniforms. Originally 26 years ago, they custom made every set but through the years and the retiring of the Grandma’s in the back… they went to ready made uniforms but still, nobody could tailor fit a uniform like them.
Law enforcement offices throughout the State have trusted Pac Woolen to dress their personnel. How in the world will be do without them!!! There will never be another Pac Woolen!

i’m giving a neutral 3 stars because i’ve never used this company. i heard a rumor this week that p.w. is closing and going out of business at the end of this month because they lost the uniforms contracts for both h.p.d. and hpd. anybody know if this is true?

I’m kind of surprised there aren’t any reviews for this place, maybe it’s because if you’re going here, you don’t have a choice… they are THE uniform shop for the city!
That being said, here are a couple things of note:
–street parking along King isn’t usually horrible right in that area… we’ve never had to park more than 50 yds away
–the inside is TINY but the employees are super nice and efficient
