Papa John’s Pizza

Usually the pizza is good but lately they have been delivering me pizza that looks like it’s been flipped around inside the box or lacking on the toppings. The driver told me that sometimes pizza comes out messed up because of the extra sauce. He did call and have my pizza remade but only after 5min of excuses.

Ordered a Large 3 Topping Pizza. Whole pizza pepperoni and half double olives. The half with double olives, hardly has any olives.
Went there again last night. Waited 35 minutes. Asked the Manager about my pizza, she was looking for it. Then she went on the phones. 5 minutes later, asked the cashier and she didn’t know. A guy came and was looking for it… It was on the shelf sitting there the whole time. OMG… What terrible service.
Never going there again.

Came here tonight before going to the movies to grab a tasty pizza. We love Papa Johns here on the island, so much better than the mainland! We went in and there were many employees available to help. It’s Monday madness today– so one topping medium pizza is $ 7 and a large one topping is $ 10. Awesome deal!
We ordered a medium, half cheese and half chicken. We watched them make it and it came out hot and delicious.
The only reason I take one star away is because someone’s half eaten cheeseburger was sitting on the pizza boxing station counter… Please take your lunch break somewhere else…

I usually wouldn’t write a review for a
commercial pizza joint, heck I wouldn’t usually write many reviews at all (look at my profile lol)! BUT I have never had a misunderstanding rectified so quickly, efficiently, and with such sincere apology. I had a misunderstanding with the special of the day and, after chasing my tail for some time, the manager Trina was put on the phone. I honestly started to scream at her bc I was ordering a pizza bc I am having the cold from hell and was at my wits end getting my dinner… Trina was calm, quick polite and PERSONABLE to boot. She rectified the situation and made up for it so fast, my head spun! Awesome service to accompany pizza I already love! Thank you so much for making me feel better, Trina :-)

Pizza is always average at best. But where was my pepperoncini and garlic sauce that always comes with every pizza :(
Delivery guy was nice though so he gets a star.

I love the pizza here, it’s awesome! I’ve been coming here for years and it’s consistently great.

8″ One topping pizza with a 20oz drink for $ 6.00. Enough said.

Better Ingredients, Better Pizza, Papa Johns.
First thing that comes to mind, when comparing them to Pizza Hut is the dough they use. Tastes more like french bread, and less cardboardy. I like how they use different sauces, like the alfredo spinach chicken; definitely gets creative points. Another plus, is they are located on Kapiolani, which is nearby and convenient for pickup orders. Pricing can be a lot if you don’t buy their specials or have a coupon. Just very satisfied with the flavor of pizza. Don’t forget to dip your pizza in the garlic sauce, ho broke da mouth,

Please instruct your drivers that it is inappropriate to arrive on a multi-​occupant property at 12:45 AM yelling «Papa John’s» for all to hear. You should have the phone number of the person who placed the order and use that number upon arrival.

Our order was messed up but they went beyond to compensate for the inconvenience by giving us and extra large pizza and a free drink even though we told not too. Excellent customer service and friendly staff. Also ready quick and delicious pizza!!!

clueless manager, completely disappointed by the way he handles the issue, its like he knows all the answers already! and of course none of them are the right answer. all he tried to say was, sir shut the front door, thats the only way we do it in here even tough we did it in different way last time. I should have talk to the person who picked up the phone, he made more sense.

Every Friday or Saturday I’m getting pizza delivered from this Papa Johns. And I love it. With the exception to a few ranch sauces being forgotten a few times, their service has been superb. And especially with one of their delivery guys, Mitch. That guys is so nice and is always thinking about the customer.

Ordered a pie online. Advertised a 30 – 40 minute wait for delivery. Cancelled the order after 80 minutes. The 2^nd star is for the manager offering me a free pizza when I cancelled. And I haven’t ordered from them since.

It was a rainy night and traffic was crazy. Even though the pizza was late, Vanessa the manager took care of us. And Trip the deliver driver was cool and professional. Having delivered pizzas myself I know how things can be.

Pizza is great. Delivery is on time as indicated at check out. Great pizza and can’t beat the web Wednesday price.

My favorite chain restaurant pizzeria. Better tasting than both dominos and Pizza Hut in my opinion. Sure I have had better pizza but for the price and convenience papa wins hands down. I love the papa points rewards as I manage to get a free pizza every couple of months. I also like like the online ordering at Papa Js better than dominos or Pizza Hut there are much more customization options.
anyhow the real reason for this review is the top notch customer service I got when I received my order late. I received my order about 60 – 70 minutes after I ordered despite my online delivery quote of about 45 minutes. No biggie really except that this time my order was a little cold and missing the extra sauces I ordered. I call the store and explain my situation to the manager he immediately refunded my full price that was charged to my credit card. I was offered the option of a remade pizza with the right sauces for free but I choose not to wait. No arguing no questions asked, the driver was also very apologetic as he knew he was late and gave me a card for both a free dessert and $ 10 off card on my next online order.
I was impressed by this as I have ordered for delivery at many other places and I usually get the run around or a plethora of excuses for late delivery or wrong items.

To my dear friends that love their pizza,
Please do yourself a favor and don’t order from this pseudo pizza place location specifically.
Placed a delivery order on a Friday night for a specialty pizza and was told that the wait time was 45 – 50 minutes. Gave all information so a box filled with pie wouldn’t get lost. First of all, why does pizza take so bloody long to get? It’s just pizza.
After calling the store for an eta the manager said, «oh the delivery guy had been trying to reach you and had been downstairs but no answer» *Crickets*
Forget 45 – 50 minutes; I ended up waiting 60 freaking minutes for a pizza after giving the right address and phone number to pick up a bloody pizza from the lobby of the apt and the driver couldn’t call the store to confirm my phone number?
I was extremely irritated by this time called back and demanded a refund. Never again. 60 minutes for a pizza is unacceptable. I ended up eating left overs which I warmed up and ended up eating in 15 minutes. *smh*

I ordered a large pepperoni, extra sauce, for delivery. It arrived after 50 minutes, room temperature, looking like it hadn’t even been cooked all the way. And, no extra sauce.
It looked and tasted worse than the preboxed pizzas they have at WalMart Little Caesars.
I think they prebake large pepperonis and send them out for delivery.
Guess I’ll be looking for another place to get pizza delivered in Honolulu.

I’ve never dined in so I don’t have any reviews for that except sometimes I do have to wait about a minute or two until someone actually helps me.
The pizza here is always good and always ready when I come by to pick up. I guess when they say 15 minutes, it’s actually gonna be 15 minutes. I gotta start leaving my place earlier so my pizza is a lot fresh.
