Tina is amazing!
I came here today for my first facial, and she was very very informative. I’ve been struggling with blackheads for quite some time now and she got rid of 90% of them. The environment is extremely relaxing and soothing. And she gave me free samples and explained to me how to better take care of my skin at home.
My skin looks and feels amazing, I will definitely be coming back here whenever I want a facial!

This is a wonderful place to go for great, natural skin care. I have had trouble whith getting my skin to clear up for 10 years. Tina, helped me improve it by 75% I’m just one trearment, i look forward to my next visit. Tina is very thoughtful and considerate to all her customers. She took care of me even when I was running late and accidentally left my credit card I her care after my treatment. I recommend her if you want honest skin care.

This is where I get to have time to myself, recharge, and talk story with in my opinion, the BEST ESTHETICIAN on Oahu. I can now say I have known Tina for 12 years now. What started through word of mouth (Tina doesn’t need to advertise), for the care of my skin leading up to my wedding day has now blossomed into a wonderful friendship over the years. You know your skin care specialist is fabulous when she has amazing skin herself! I swear, she hasn’t aged a day since I first came here 15 years ago!

I used to always break out after facials. Not since I found Tina. She’s amazing! Been going to her consistently for many, many years. She never tries to sell you things you don’t need, in fact, she won’t let you buy things that you don’t need! Haha. Love that all her products are all natural too. I always get compliments on my skin and complexion. Half of its genetics, the other half is Tina’s care. Thank you Pebu!

I’ve been a Pebu client for over 10 years and although I cannot afford a monthly schedule with the owner, Tina, I do NOT go anywhere else or trust anyone else with my skincare, as I do with Tina at Pebu. I do not use Groupons or try new places. This is my go-​to place and there are many reasons why.
#1) TIna is a skin care specialist meaning she does not offer cookie cutter facials for the masses. She believes that everyone’s skin is different and she will speak with you and analyze your skin to determine the best type of facial ingredients for you at that time. This is definitely not a «one size fits all» type of establishment and over the 10 years I have been seeing Tina, I appreciate this especially as I get older and my skin needs change.
#2) Tina uses the finest quality ingredients and offers product at wholesale cost; there is no ridiculous mark-​up for high-​demand items that you would find cost and arm, and a leg and an eye at places like Neiman Marcus or Nordstrom. Her facial prices are also in line with other facial places like Aveda and Heaven on Earth. This is not the place where you go for a bargain facial. You pay good money and you get excellent high quality service in return.
#3) Tina has great energy. She has a calm and peaceful disposition that is welcoming and relaxing. She never makes you feel uncomfortable or uneasy. Her location is quite the hidden gem that is both unique and quaint, making you feel right at home. Her mom is also there to assist in phone calls and paperwork and this makes for a great atmosphere that is based on customized intimate attention and not just an in-​and-​out factory. You will also receive a cool and refreshing beverage and cookie after each session.
I have taken both my sisters to Tina at Pebu for facials and both sisters (early twenties and late twenties in age) have both agreed with me that Tina is by far the best skin care specialist on Oahu.
Pebu is located in the same building as Pizza Hut on Kapahulu and parking is a small open lot where you pay $ 2 for 2 hours in the money slot box. Her shop faces Kapahulu, in a two story building walk up. Leave some time to find her place and park since it is kind of tricky to locate your first time there. After you get it down, it’s a breeze to find and park.

Tina is the best esthetician I have ever had in 30 years in taking care of my skin. The skin spa is delightfully cozy. It’s plush and inviting. You will find ultimate relaxation, and your skin will look and feel amazing. I’m looking forward to the next 30 years if great skin, and I know Tina’s expertise will be invaluable. Her prices are totally reasonable. I also like that I am helping a local business, rather than a corporation and a huge mall-​owner. Tina’s products are the best, without additives, fragrances, or the mark-​up you see in the corporate stores and skin counters.

My skin has benefited tremendously from Tina over the past 15 years. She is extremely knowledgeable of the skin, and a meticulous aesthetician. Pebu Skin Spa has an inviting and warm atmosphere, which just makes the entire experience wonderful and relaxing! The products at Tina Skin Spa are truly the finest in skin care, and I would not go anywhere else! Despite living on the mainland the past 10 years, I made sure that my visits back home to Honolulu included a facial with Tina. I have tried other aestheticians and products… but nothing compares to Pebu Skin Spa and to Tina’s skill and expertise! Tina carries skin care products (which include anything from moisturizers to sunblock to eye creams) …and also mineral makeup — which is awesome compliment to protecting your skin from the harmful rays of the sun!
Do call to make an appointment! Tina is in high demand, and she books extremely quickly and in advance!
Pros: conveniently located on Kapahulu Avenue, great products, awesome aesthetician, and your facial/​treatment is followed by a great herbal tea… and she always is happy to assist customers with determining a skin regimen and helps outline the steps towards healthy and beautiful skin!!!
Cons: honestly — none!
Tip: bring change (dollar bills/quarters)…there is a private lot… but requires self-​payment ($ 2 for 2hours… enough time for your facial!), or street metered parking.

Tina is still the «benchmark» for Honolulu for an Expert Facial with the finest in Facial Products. This is IT!
