Peninsula At Hawaii Kai

My mother lives in the Colony. It’s absolutely beautiful. There’s plenty of street parking, a nice pavillion with a BBQ and2 pools. One is private for only Condo owners while the other is a community pool for everyone else. We saw an Open House for around $ 525K on the first floor of the Colony. There’s a beautiful Gazebo by the lakeside homes and a romantic walking path that fronts the waters. The place is also dog-​friendly. Everyone knows everyone else’s dogs and its cute seeing them walk around saying hello to their fellow dog-​lovers. One day, maybe we can live here too!

My cousin and her husband live here and it’s a really nice «gated community» — there’s 1 and 2 bedroom condos that remind me of those San Francisco Victorian style homes — really nice looking, then there’s attached homes that look like one big house from the outside, and regular houses.
The amenities are great here too — 2 pools (plus a kiddie pool), a workout room with lots of new equipment, an open air pavilion for having a small party, and also an enclosed party room with a small kitchen and new appliances to use while entertaining.
This is in a great area, since it’s right across the street form Kaiser HS, you got Costco and all the other stores down the way, and of course Koko Marina is close by too!
My aunty was looking at the bulletin board they had near the enclosed party room and saw that someone was selling (not renting) their parking space there for $ 250,000! That’s like another down payment on a home! Crazy.
