Phil’s Barber Shop

As always a nice fresh haircut by stylist and owner Joe Randazzo along with a nice refreshing hot towel afterwards. I love the new kinda modern but yet still vintage theme they have going on. Great customer service and a very friendly staff as well.

I loved the atmosphere of this place. It was perfect and easy to talk to the barber. I love what they have going on here and I can’t wait to go back again.

This place has the soul of a 1950’s barbershop. Great service that makes you feel like you’ve stepped back in time. I’d recommend this for every man who longs for the way gentlemen used to treat themselves.
Surprisingly the the cost is the same as any quality cut.

Phil’s Barbershop is a new concept with a vintage aesthetic by J Salon’s most talented stylist and owner Joe Randazzo. The barbershop is actually set inside J Salon but in a separate room with a completely unique experience. What really sets Phil’s Barbershop apart is the unmistakable quality of haircut which I have found unparalleled in Hawaii.
Joe is a teacher and always taking his team of talented stylist and barbers to a new level in their abilities. He got his start in the competitive salon scene in NYC eventually opened up his own salon and most recently attended an exclusive school for elite barbers in Rotterdam. If you haven’t had a cut at J Salon or Phil’s Barbershop I assure you, there’s no better cut on the islands.
More than anything the shop, the cut, the people is about personality. It’s a place where I can go get a high quality men’s cut or shave without my wallet or masculinity taking a hit.
