This attorney lied and botched so many deadlines in my case (4 in all). This case was thrown out, based on HIS negligence. It was a medical malpractice case that rendered a 525K likely outcome at the MCCP level. I’m permanently in a wheelchair for life, as a result of this case. When he claimed to be broke and homeless, my new attorney settled for just 50K against the threat of Kawamura filing Bankruptcy. He has never paid one cent. This is verifiable through the MCCP/​ODC offices in Honolulu Hi. According to Kawamura in court records-(as recently as April 2015), he is so broke that he is unable to pay even his own basic living expenses .Not a good choice.
