Went here the other day to try it out. Tried calling to place an order, but no one picked up. I arrived there and they were open, so I’m not sure why they didn’t answer the phone. I ordered the Philly cheesesteak. Forty, yes 40! minutes later my food was ready. Had I been able to place a phone order the wait would not have been so bad. I was also the only one there at the time, so I’m not sure why they are so slow. The cheesesteak didn’t look all that appetizing, but it actually didn’t taste half that bad. I would return but only if I could place my order over the phone. As a side note, Southern Flair is located BEHIND the Groove Hawaii Racetrack in Kakaako. It seems like this is a bad location as there is little exposure from the road and the racetrack is pretty dead during the day. Sadly, unless this truck finds a new location, I don’t see it being around very long. It’s a shame because Southern food trucks are a rarity in Hawaii.
