Starbucks

Two caramel macchiatos — one was correct, second one ONLY foam? Really? Couldn’t tell something was wrong with the definite difference in weight between the two drinks? AND they weren’t even busy. I highly suggest you check your coffee before leaving or better yet, go to either the Town Center or Aina Haina location. Both are a lot faster and always get your order correct.

Consistently the worst Starbucks ever! They mess up orders left and right, take forever to make a drink, and I have to practically dance on the table to get them to notice me begging for my mobile order that they constantly leave behind the counter without calling my name. WORST STARBUCKS EVER!

This Starbucks usually has terrible service. I go frequently after the gym, so the location is good. But today, when I had literally only 10 minutes to get a to go coffee (plenty of no line), I was not able to get my order in. There were 6 staff behind the counter, with one making drinks and one taking orders. The others just talking. There was one customer in line, but it was taking a while. No one offered to «get something started».nothing. One guy casually started washing dishes.
Individually this would be a big deal. But this sort of thing has happened to me at like 6 times last year. It doesn’t happen at the other Starbucks, including the other one in Hawaii Kai. I realize I could call Starbucks ad probably get a free drink or something, but I don’t want that. I just want the order in a timely, line size appropriate manner.

By far the worst experience at a Starbucks I’ve ever had. Service was beyond slow, with the barista making drinks ordered way after mine. 15 plus minutes to get my mocha after ordering and there were very few orders ahead of mine and those were Frap things that another barista was doing.
Manager comes out and starts making her own drink and talking to the workers, slowing even more.
Get your act together people!

I really appreciate the opportunity to see all the wonderful decorative designs in the store. I am glad to see that this store is really into the Christmas season and i like this store because they are really excited into the sprit and the return of the peppermint mocha Frappuccino and it is one of the tasty drinks too. I am glad to see that they are friendly as well as seeing the store has good snack items too, which is not bad. It is not a good place to also study and to drink coffee as well as eating baked goods, which is very tasty and delicious and i enjoy coming going to Starbucks Coffee because I have to get used to waking up early in the morning and getting used to being a early bird and getting my coffee fix and I am going to be back to get the strawberry acai refresher because it keeps me going and not wear me out in case of being tired and sleepy as well. I will be back again soon so i can try other things too so that way i can enjoy it

Nicely renovated store HOWEVER on 11÷13÷15 found 2 cartons of organic milk that were OVER ONE MONTH PAST EXPIRATION date. I gave it to the young cashier saying its expired and they should check the rest of their stock. She rings it up and gives me the price.
Not sure where EXPIRED milk (health hazard) equates to «I want to buy this»!!! When I said «no it’s expired» she gives me a blank stare and then says «oh you don’t want this?»
Argh Starbucks what happened to your high standard of training??? Why get a $ 5 cup of coffee if you’re met with $ 1 intelligence?

Starbucks has good enough coffee. I was trolling, and my girlfriend shut me down. UUgh

I usually don’t write a review on Starbucks because the quality of drinks, service and food is pretty good no matter where you go. But I live in town and Im always willing to drive allllll the way in Hawaii Kai Starbucks… for one reason… the space. They way they designed is smart. There are plenty of tables and plugs making it a perfect place to study. The only thing it gets pretty cold in there… but I much rather be cold than hot. Will being coming more often :)

This is also another very busy Starbucks location in Hawaii, specifically in the Hawaii Kai area. It is conveniently located inside the Koko Marina Shopping Center. You cannot really miss it if you are coming from Kalanianaole Highway side from that entrance into the area. It is right next to the Walgreens that they have there now along with many other surrounding shops and stuff. There is a decent amount of parking that you can find nearby. However, depending on what time of the day that you are coming, it could get really busy. Everytime that I come over here, it is mostly busy with all of the seats and table areas (inside) filled and full. There are also some table and seating areas outside. The staff and customer service is good. I feel that it is actually a smaller kind of Starbucks. It is in a prime spot in Hawaii Kai/​Koko Marina Center so that is why it is mostly busy most of the time. They open kinda early and close kinda late too compared to the other Starbucks in Hawaii Kai.

Nicely remodeled. Expanded seating area, need to make the table area more individual tables rather than community style, since people then to sit at «front» of the row which makes sitting in the interior area difficult due to spacing and inconsiderate patrons!

Me:“Can I have a Venti Iced Thai with Soy”
Bar: «Venti Iced Chai with Soy»
Me: «no, Venti Iced Thai with soy»
Bar: **blank stare** «Venti Iced Chai Thai with soy?»
Me: *stabbing her with my eyeballs* Venti. Iced, THAI. with Soy
repeated myself 5 times with a long ass line of people behind me. Then I get a starbucks text asking if i’d like to leave tip from my Gold card. we’re just g2g ahead and decline this text.

I don’t really think Starbucks coffee is that good but I come here often to take advantage of AC, which I lack at home. I noticed that someone that works in this Starbucks location has music tastes that I appreciate and wanted to give them a good review for it.
Twice now I’ve come here and heard a range of songs from bands like Ride and Pavement. I was pleasantly surprised. Whoever you are, keep playing this music while you work!!! It is appreciated!

It’s always crowded, so expect a wait. But the veterans that work there seem to be customer oriented. Today, a barista jumped in to assist on some guy being totally annoying with his EIGHT drink orders. Then a (I’m not sure what she was) but a Caucasian woman told another person to ring, since the line was getting so long. I wish I got their names because they totally got the line going!
Coffee, as always, is what was expected.
New renovations are way better in my opinion!

I was recently in Oahu for vacation and one of my favorite things about going is that Starbucks has coconut syrup!!! Be still my heart… Anyways, I had gotten a drink from a licensed store (should’ve known better) and it was TERRIBLE. I hopped into this place and they fixed me right up with a different, delicious drink, no problem and friendly. Just what world class customer service is all about!

The Baristas handle a large volume of customers with a high degree of professionalism and skill. I have been an irregular customer for years and have always been very impressed by the cohesiveness of their team work as well as their apparent comradery.
Earl Grey Tea Latte is always so tastey, and they don’t even looked phased despite what a pain in the ass it must be to make. Thanks guys!

Nice Starbucks. The employees talk so loud you know all about them. They were having inappropriate conversations that every guest could hear! The female
Manager is not professional at all. She is yelling across the store talking about her personal life.

One of the only starbucks I know of in Hawaii Kai area, located in the Koko Marina shopping center. It’s pretty convenient, with a side parking lot nearby since the main parking lot can get really crowded with the theaters, 24hr fitness, and the popular restaurants. It’s a decent sized starbucks, lots of tables for sitting, studying. The staff is friendly, fast and has always gotten my drink right. There’s also bathrooms for customers inside.

This Starbucks still surprises me, and not in a good way!
I walked in add asked for a Venti Dark Roast. I paid for it then they told me that they didn’t have any more dark roast. Would I like medium or light roast. I said I wanted a dark roast and the cashier said that they weren’t going to make any more, implying it was that time of day. It was 10:30 am?
I said I would wait for her to brew it and she then said it would take 15 minutes to brew, again acting as if they didn’t want to do it.
I informed her that I had never been refused a coffee order at a Starbucks. I asked her do a small brew for me. What looks! I just in amazement that I was apologizing to them for being such a bother.
They poured a medium roast and then the cashier said no that I wanted them to brew me a dark roast!
Never had to beg for a cup of coffee before.

They have newly remodeled and it looks nice. I hope they keep it that way!

This particulate Starbucks is great… friendly, quick, and tasty as it should be. But I am spoiled with the Kaneohe drive thru. And that is the only shortcoming of this particular Starbucks. I’m so glad they are here and open so early for my rise and shine moments.

This starbucks is always pretty empty when I go. There is usually ample parking too, so it makes for a quick grab and go starbucks break. Even though there are numerous spaces and the spaces are relatively large, people have tried to crash into my car on more than one occasion. Maybe I’m unlucky or maybe Hawaii Kai is concentrated with bad drivers, but just be careful when you drive through this parking lot.
This Starbucks is located near the entrance to the Koko Marina Center. There are a few clothing stores and take out places nearby as well as a theater and other restaurants across the parking lot. This is the only Starbucks east of Kahala mall before you reach enchanted lakes, so it’s a wonder it isn’t busier.
The baristas aren’t the friendliest here. They get the job done, but they don’t put in the extra effort I’ve seen at other starbucks locations. They also run out of salads and sandwiches often.
There are a few tables and chairs inside as well as seating outside. It definitely makes a nice air conditioned oasis when it’s super hot outside.
