Great reception staff, very helpful with insurance and billing. The whole team there is extremely friendly. Dr. Takai is terrific as he is very good at what he does, is thorough, and was able to explain every question I had. 5 stars.

I never used to like going to the dentist, but once I started going to Dr. Takai’s office I stopped dreading the appointments. Dr. Takai and his staff treat you like family, and they always do their best to make you feel well cared for and comfortable. The front office staff makes you feel welcome from the moment you walk in the door, and they’re very accommodating with scheduling appointments/​last minute cancellations.
All of the hygienist are very friendly and do an awesome job cleaning my teeth. Dr. Takai also provides a very thorough dental exam, and he is one of the few dentists that also gives a head and neck exam before looking into the mouth. You can tell that he truly cares about your overall health and wellbeing, and he does great work if you ever need any fillings/​crowns/​bridges/​etc.
Overall, Dr. Takai is a great dentist and his hygienist and office staff make me look forward to going to the dentist. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a new dentist.

Dr. Takai really takes care of you and the whole dental experience there is comfortable with relaxing Hawaiian music and friendly staff. Conveniently located next to Kahala Mall, They go above and beyond with customer service, innovation, technology, recommendations, personal attention and care. It’s a great place for kids and seniors!

Dr. Takai is so nice! The staff is also very friendly. I enjoyed having my teeth cleaned and look forward to another visit!
