I highly recommend Taniguchi & Associates. I recently sold my condominium and Erik and his team helped me every step of the way, it was the best customer service experience! Erik was there for an initial walk-​thru and gave me advice on what needed to be fixed prior to listing, and he also helped me to determine what items should be sold in as-​is condition. His expertise and confidence helped to put me at ease, and it also motivated me knowing that we could get the condo ready to sell and listed in a short amount of time. Everyone on the team is so organized! They sent detailed timelines to set expectations from the start, and every team member followed-​up accordingly to keep me up to date on each process. The staging décor was so perfect and they coordinated everything with the existing wall colors and finishes, it truly helped to make the empty space feel like a home. I found out later that the buyer actually asked to purchase the furniture, the staging was that good! The professional photos and 360-​degree views really helped to market the unit before the first open house. I was shocked that after just one open house we received 8 solid offers and went straight into escrow. Before calling Taniguchi & Associates, I was dreading the process of selling my condo. But the moment we had our first meeting, all of my anxiety went away and dreadful process turned into an exciting, collaborative team effort. After working with such an excellent team, I can’t wait to work with them again!

I hate talking on the phone. Our house had just gone off the market and we were taking a breather from the frustration of trying to sell a great property and bumping our heads against the realtor (d ifferent agency) who had originally listed it. We felt the marketing was sorely lacking, their only answer was ‘drop the price’. I had semi set up a new listing with a hotshot firm, national TV show, extensive marketing, etc. when Erik called. The fact that he kept me on the phone for a good half hour+ (I was busy, tired, and distracted when he called) was impressive. If he could do so with me, he could do so with a buyer. That’s who we needed at bat, persistence and desire. He kept me on the phone because he had answers. Whatever concern I expressed, he countered with excellent solutions. And he carried through — above expectations, with enthusiasm and never dropping the ball. And we are not the easiest team to be on! Less than a month after Erik’s listing went up (and O.M.G. was it gorgeous AND widely networked) our house is in escrow for the full asking price. That’s the way to roll, faith restored and gratitude immense. Thank you Erik!

What more is there to say other than Erik is an amazing realtor. During my search for a condo, I found Capitol Place to be a good location with great amenities. Unfortunately, none of the available units were very desirable as they were mostly on lower floors. Since I loved the building, he assisted in finding a great unit by contacting owners of all the units off-​market, and one of the owners responded! The end result was a very smooth transaction and a happy client. I would highly recommend Erik and his team based upon his top-​notch level of service and expertise in the Hawaii market. In fact, he has since helped my family with multiple transactions and is currently assisting with another. Great experience!
