The Satellite Guy

Called on Satellite Guy when I decided to dump my Dish satellite service. Got tired of the constant failure of the DVRs provided by Dish, and the addition of up to three «dishes» on top of my roof. He uninstalled the three monstrosities, removed the device that had to be returned and took back the dishes to be disposed of. All for a lot less than I had thought he would charge. Now if he can convert all the dish stuff I had recorded on a hard drive, that would make me happy. Never asked, but then maybe I should have. Understand he has his own in-​house subscriptions. And there are so many frustrated Dish users out there who spent a lot of time saving directly to hard drive and have no way to access that data.

These guys are bad. We asked them to come and do a survey of our television system and they said they have to charge us for this. We paid them, called many times and left messages and still have not received a call back. All we are trying to do is up grade our satellite system. Direct TV should cancel there agreement with them and find someone who cares about there customers. If I were you I would try everything in your power to find someone else if you have any issues with Direct TV. Seriously it’s been over a month with bad service and no support.
Hey actually, just tried to cancel my service with Direct TV. Turns out there is another Direct TV dealer in Hawaii! Don’t believe The Satelite Guys, they are NOT exclusive. Other Dealers, according to Direct TV:

Haven’t tried these numbers but will in the morning. Can’t be worst than the no call backs from the Satelite Guys…

Crew at the Satellite Guy are great! They installed our DirecTv and have been very happy. Great service and walked me through all the questions that I had. I definitely would recommend them to anyone!

I hired «The Satellite Guy» to install DirectTV to replace Oceanic Cable at my Waimanalo home and also hired them to take over the service and development of my Control4 home automation system, after giving up on two other Hawaii Control4 service providers that made big promises to earn my business, but never followed through or demonstrated the required expertise.
The DirectTV installation couldn’t have gone smoother and The Satellite Guy is also heads and shoulders above the others I tried for the home automation. Jason was able to quickly understand my needs and is very knowledgable about integration and offering solid solutions, where the other two previous companies failed miserably.
It’s so nice to have finally found a service provider in Hawaii that does what they say they will do professionally, timely and cost effectively. I definitely recommend the satellite guy for any media related needs and especially home automation solutions/​service as well. Jason, the owner, is also very personable, honest, organized and doesn’t waste my time, he simply gains an understanding of how I want things to work, thinks it through, offers solutions, and then get’s it done! Great experience with these guys!!!

woah, i got charge $ 36 for handling fee after the installation? what happens to the free installation?

way the hella better than oceanic, i’m switching because of the great customer service from the satellite guy, saving a bundle and you can choose your service and package, fast and professional installations. Thanks satellite guy
