Last saturday I had the Geek Squad come since my sound system was not working. They said they would be there between 8 and 12. He arrived at 11:50 so I guess that counts. After an hour, the same guy who had serviced the system three years earlier, said he was sure that the receiver was fried and needed to be replaced. $ 700 at Best Buy. I schedule to have them return the next week when I still cannot get it to work even with the new receiver. During the week, I begin to revisit the visit and doubt some of the statements so I go on line and find Turbo Tech. He agrees to come on saturday at 11 and look at the system. He arrives a few minutes before 11 am. He tells me the visit is $ 135. At 1 pm he has my system working better than it has when it was originally installed. He properly connects all the wires, determines the receiver is fine and proves it by having it all work. He explains it to me in a way that I can understand. He is a quiet man who works methodically and efficiently. The bill is $ 135 plus tax, I am completely satisfied and annoyed that I spent the last few years dealing with the Geek Squad. He reps a few manufacturers. He does this part-time so do not be put off that he does not have a traditional brick and mortar storefront. I have already recommended him to several others. Thank you for returning my music to me.

I brought my Denon reciever here when it broke down last week. Denon lists Turbo Tech as the only authorized repair center in Hawaii. It’s located right in town and is actually in Palama Settlement. Leonard was super friendly and helpful. Three new power supplies later my Home Theatre is back in action.
