We stopped in today. It’s a little out of the way, on Lewers, just mauka of Kalākaua, thru an inconspicuous entry, and up to the 7^th floor. But worth the trip.
My husband is an ukulele collector, with 6 to date. Anyway, Isaac Peters is very knowledgeable and helped my husband with some technical thoughts about electronics and even uke straps. He has a selection of ukeulele brands at different price points. He is a very nice guy and no pressure, even though my husband is clearly an easy mark! He can also arrange for private lessons with various musicians. We were there about a half hour and enjoyed every minute.
He also makes some beautiful koa phone cases, wish we knew what phone were getting next month.
