UYE: Cathy T’s Dirty 30 Birthday Karaoke

A fun night at Air Park full of songs, (occasional) dance, friends, food, drinks – all in celebration of Cathy’s 30^th! Happy, Happy Birthday!

Sad that I arrived late and couldn’t stay long, but as long as you had a good time and I got to say hi and take a photo op with you!
Definitely a side of Cathy I’ve never seen!

Although I could not stay late, it was nice to have met a few Unilocalers, especially the Birthday Girl Cathy T. Finally met Emi H. and Maka K along with Darin O. and Daniel.

I’ve been to Air Park before, it is a Unilocal fav.
I’ll spare you the blow by blow that I normally run down the vents by the numbers.
Regardless– The party was Jumping Jumping!
Yes, around 6 a few start to show up, including me. Already there was pizza, kfc, chips, and Maka had cupcakes.
Happy hour is $ 2 off drinks as special. The bar is normal whiskey, vodka, gin, rum and what you see in the back of the bar to make calls.
Highlights of the night included Raelyn singing 22 Taylor Swift to Cathy, Emi singing to Cathy, and Cathy and Eric singing Eminem songs together.
Yes Raelyn, Nick Carter in Backstreet Boys could be first heard in 1992– those of us that listened to the formations of boy bands as they were formed.
There was plenty of Disney and weird B roll to Discovery Channel music.
Also– it is not kieiki friendly. Clean radio version is what is normally heard on the radio, no swearing. Dirty versions have swearing, dirty dirty versions are the level of swearing some of the songs had.

How fun was this? Very fun!
It was so much fun getting together to celebrate Cathy T.‘s Birthday in such an intimate setting. Cathy was so gracious and you could tell that she enjoyed all who came to help her celebrate.
The food was great that was brought, pizzas from Talor and Amara, potatoes salad from Paul, finger licking good food from John and Jacob, cookies form Nadine, and cupcakes from Maka. Thanks to the bar staff for the paper plates and utensils which helped everyone enjoy the food.
The karaōke was fun and the mike was passed. I think that everyone enjoyed the evening, drinks and music. I know I did.

Turning 30 only happens once in a lifetime and I’m so happy that Cathy decided to share her birthday celebrations with the entire Unilocal community! There were dozens of people that stopped by, lots of food, lots of drinks, and endless singing. It was so much fun!
I was handed the mic early, but I have a strict no girl song singing unless the girl sounds like a manly man. Then it’s okay. I can’t think of any girl songs like that though. I was definitely not doing Taylor Swift.
I did partake in some Uptown Funk, Thinking Out Loud, and I’m Not the Only One. These are some of my current favorite songs!
Thanks so much to Daniel and Oliver for the Grey Goose shots, Maka for your ridiculously yummy homemade cupcakes, Jacob for the KFC, David for the amazing guacamole, and everyone else for the good food and company. It was so nice catching up and talking story with so many long time friends and meeting new lots of new people.

How often does one get to enjoy a 30^th birthday celebration surrounded by close friends and making new friends? Just once.
It was a last minute decision on my half when Mel B asked me «Where do you want to go after Taiyo Ramen?»
My answer «I want to go check out Air Park Karaōke and wish Cathy a Happy Birthday»
We arrived at Air Park Karaōke and was immediately greeted by Emi H. and Daniel C. On the search for the birthday girl we was greeted by Maka K who says «I want to take a picture of you two with Cathy». Where’s Cathy? I don’t see her.
I’m glancing around the room and I noticed that this place is kind of packed. People I have seen before at Nadine’s UYE and people who I have never met before. I finally spotted Darin sitting on the couch near the flat screen TV. I made my rounds of HELLO to David T, Paul C, Alli C and Kanela before I joined Darin and Mel B on the couch.
A few minutes after sitting down on the couch I spotted Maka talking to Cathy and Maka is pointing towards my direction. Mel B and I greeted Cathy and wished her a HAPPY 30TH BIRTHDAY.
I enjoyed watching the Unilocalers singing karaōke especially when Cathy and Eric B did Eminem’s SUPERMAN. Mel B reminded me that we need to find Maka so we can get our photo taken with Cathy. We found Maka and we got our picture taken with the birthday girl.
What a wonderful way to enjoy my night off from work. Meeting Mel B for the first time and enjoying the company of other Unilocalers at Air Park Karaōke for Cathy’s 30^th birthday.

How dirty is dirty? Playing in the mud? Watching nasty music videos on cable TV? But the real question is: «How old is Cathy T. ?»
Tonight over 30 Yeeps and friends congregated at Air Park Karaōke Lounge to partake in Cathy T.‘s 30^th birthday celebration. We showed up early at 6pm to find no one but it didn’t take long for birthday girl and Victoria M. to arrive.
Throughout the evening more and more people showed up not only to celebrate but there were also those who stopped by to drop off gifts and offer their well-​wishes.
There were also various snack foods for us to munch on as we drank and sang throughout the evening. It was great to have seen a whole bunch of old faces whom I haven’t seen in months so we caught up. Was caught off guard when catching up with Jordan Aaron C., as he’ll be moving to the Pacific Northwest soon. I wish him the best in his next chapter in life.
Overall, I had a great evening hanging out with my fellow Yeeps and seeing birthday girl Cathy T. having a good time!
