UYE Kats Sushi

You had me at AYCE! Thanks so much to Claire F for hosting her first UYE at a sushi place! I love sushi so much! I also love to eat. Combine these two and you have an awesome time!
I was impressed by the huge platters of nigiri! This is coming from a guy who isn’t easily impressed. Rows upon rows of maguro, sake, unagi, hamachi, and more captivated and moved me. Who knew that slapping thinly sliced fish on little rectangles of rice could wow me. I suppose I am easily impressed after all!
Much thanks to James G for some of the best sake I’ve ever had! He definitely knows how to make a party awesome with endless sake! He even brought his own buckets to keep the bottles ice cold!
Michelle L had the scoop on a cronuts from a brand new food truck before they even opened! I felt like a VIP with all of the awesomeness going around! Unilocalers are amazing people!
At the very end I was crowned the winner by Claire! I couldn’t believe I won as there were some real foodies who could eat. I won a sushi bandanna that I will forever cherish! It was the first and only food competition that I have ever won! I have tried challenges before, but have always lost. I always lose when it’s timed, but when it is a eat at your own pace kind of shindig, I can eat for so long!
