It took me 23 years to leave my pediatric dentist — 23 years. I refused to leave him, I mean, hello! He was like the father of your teeth! He knew every cavity, every crevice, every little thing about my teeth. BUT — alas, I knew eventually I would have to move on. I was 22 and walking into my pediatric dentist’s office and was surrounded by crying 5 year olds. DON’T JUDGEME! Lol. ANYWAYS, I set up an appointment with Dr. Uyehara and the receptionist Sheryl was just so nice and funny. She reminds me of your typical local Aunty, so welcoming and sweet. Now, I was hesitant to meet my new«adult» dentist. He had a lot of shoes to fill in. But, he was very welcoming. His assistant, was all too sweet also, an older Japanese lady. So sweet and cute! Anyways, Dr. Uyehara is hilarious and easy going. He really does a great job at making you feel comfortable and even gives you tips about how to take care of your teeth(in my case, stop eating so much sweets!). He is a GREAT dentist and I am thankful to have transitioned well! HIGHLY recommend him!!!
